    hii im a new subscriber and I found this channel super effective for learning Korean so thank you! btw is there any reason why 하나 is used in those sentences? im kinda confused on that part

    • @practicingkorean8974
      @practicingkorean8974  3 года назад +2

      Hi, fayeth lee! Let me try to explain.
      The root form of "have to~ , should~" is "ㅡ야 하다".
      And its interrogative form is
      ㅡ야 하나(요)? / ㅡ야 해(요)? / ㅡ야 합니까? / ㅡ야 할까(요)? etc.
      Among them, ㅡ야 하나? is used when you talk to yourself.
      ex) Should I eat? 먹어야 하나?
      Should I go? 가야 하나?
      Should I sleep? 자야 하나?
      I hope this is helpful for you. Please feel free to ask any further questions!! 😄😄

    Can the verb 있어요 be used instead of 있다 in the first sentence??

    • @practicingkorean8974
      @practicingkorean8974  3 года назад +3

      Hi, lunePT. As you know, 있어요 is the honorific form of 있다/있어. And in this cartoon, she is just talking to herself about the cat. So 있다 or 있어 is said instead of 있어요. I hope this is helpful for you.🐶
