💃 About me 💃
I am a Filipino, a mother to my two princesses, K and Kylie. They are the world to me. So in this channel you can see some snaps of our simple life. I post beauty related videos as well. I am hooked to the Korean culture so I am studying the Korean language. I also like music so I might post some cover songs from time to time.
I started this channel in hope to connect with people who share the same interests as me.
Thanks for being part of my RUclips journey. Let's all live a happy life!

Can anyone tell me how you learnt to read korean and write it
For a more detailed course for beginners, you can go to Coursera and enroll. It's free. 🙂
When I first learned Korean, in 2018, only Yonsei University was offering Korean language courses. There were only two courses back then. I completed the first one. And didn't have the time to take the second 😅 I learned a lot from that course.
Writing down notes could help you memorize the words but not necessary when taking the course since a PDF copy of the discussion is provided.
The fun and motivational part of the course for me were the conversations between foreigners speaking in Korean and native Koreans. I was amazed by how fluent they were in the Korean language.
Now, I believe Yonsei added some more courses and Sungkyungkwan University is also offering a free course.
Though I recommend Yonsei 'cause they teach in English. The course is more understandable. In the course which Sungkyungkwan University offers, the professor speaks in Korean. It's hard to keep up with subtitles.
Here on RUclips, you can also search for Jenny Korean Lesson. You'll be able to find a complete playlist. The videos are numbered so it would be easy to find where you've left off.
The videos are detailed and perfect for beginners.

MY QUESTION IS WHY DO KOREAN WORDS SOUND DIFFERENT WHEN YOU USE THEM IN A SENTENCE!?
Hello, in Korean pronunciation changes happen. The change depends on what's next or what's beside a character. For example, 밥 (bap) which is food or rice, if you use a particle next to it, let's say, 은 (eun) pronunciation becomes 밥은 (babeun). Why? Because the next syllable is a vowel. The sound of the last syllable is carried unto the next.
Also there are other special cases like how ㅂ (b) carries the sound M if used next to ㄴ (n). Example, 있습니다. Instead of reading it as isseubnida, it is pronounced as isseumnida.
I haven't made a video about it but you can search for KOREAN RULES OF BATCHIM for the complete list. Hope that helps!
I think, the rules of batchim makes it easier for people to pronounce each word.
Because of congagation

I am French but speak 5 languages.
I find Korean such a pleasant language. It's BEAUTIFUL !!!
I'm 13 and I can speak 6 languages(Korean also included) fluently but I can write 5 of them.I can speak a bit of other 9 languages.most of them are Asian languages, because I'm an Asian
I only speak english and german and currently learning korean
I can’t even get my native language (spanish) right and y’all already speak so many languages lmao
@@kmemesibnida wow how did u do it
@@shaeron5326 I'm a Bangladeshi. So,Bengali is my first language. I've learned English in school.I've learned Hindi by watching cartoons, movies from childhood. I learned Nepali & Urdu in the same way as Hindi. Now,I'm still learning Korean.I'm not a native speaker but ,if anyone asks me any question I can answer that.Beside of these languages, I can speak a very very little bit of Thai,Chinese,Melayu,Vietnamese, Japanese, Tamil,Telugu,Spanish, French, African, Russian. So,I don't count these languages
If you can't remember the words, i suggest you to buy a notebook for korean vocabulary, and write down all the words you know or want to know. I personally do this and it's really helpful!
My small notebook is a little less than halfway written on it and I thought I was almost finished and the realized I’m just started with 2 min 👁💧👄💧👁. I have 8 more min to go
I use a notebook and flash cards, you can use either of them

Hello I'm learning korean for months now and I'm starting to lose energy and be lazy then I stumbled into this video and I'm surprised that I know all these words. And now I found energy and motivation to keel learning korean because of your video. Thank you. I don't know if my grammar is corect but
비뗘를 떡분에 난 되 동기부여요.
갑사합니다. 저는 한국어를 열심히 공부하겠습니다
Uh, if you meant to say thank you with the word 갑사합니다, it's actually 감사합니다
The fact that I have been learning for a year and a half and still have not gotten to the same level as you.. lol.
@@saratonin45 well, you should try to reviewing what your learned everyday. that's it. that's why people can learn quickly. they have to review the same thing 'till you memorise it. for example: write all the words in this video and then, after three days do it again. rewrite it and you'll see that you know almost every word. if you don't, don't worry, time will let you know. I know it's hard, you know, its 100 words but I'm here after write everything even if I know almost everything, because I know this will make me better in korean.
@@looksogoodyet ah that is a good idea. Thank you!

I have this really weird game where I take flash cards and cut them up into little squares and put a Korean word on one card and English definition on another. Then I place them down and try to match them❤️this really helps me
Nice! I also use flashcards when I memorize words. But I just use one for each word. Hangeul in front and the English translation at the back. I'll guess the Korean word before flipping the card. It works.
Yay, I already know 41 of those words :P Good motivation to keep going and study the rest. Almost half way!
Fighting! 💗
Honestly this was THE VIDEO that I needed for learning Korean. It's just perfect. It has pictures which make it interesting and also the pronunciation is very clear which helps us not go wrong. Thank you so much for this lovely video!!
Manhi manhi Saranghaeyu!! 💜💜💜
I learned that associating words with the pictures makes it easier for your Brian to focus on one language so you don’t tire out your brain. Also listening and looking at the pictures helps a lot too.
Thank you for watching! Hope this video helped.
This helps me so much, I have been using duolingo to learn korean but you also need other learning platforms like videos on RUclips, so this video really helps get those words into the memory with the spelling and correct pronunciation. so thank you so much, please do more videos to help us learners. 😊
Hi, thank you for watching and learning Korean with me! ♥️ The videos I make is also my way of memorizing and reviewing what I've learned. ☺️

I learnt to read korean 3 hours ago, and used this video to practice it and check it each time.
Thank you very much. I am now able to read but don't know what I'm reading.
Your 남자 (boy) is actually Peppermint Patty, a girl, from the Peanuts cartoons 😄🙊
To be honest, I just realized it now 🤣🤣 I wasn't able to give it much thought when I was editing. Thanks for the heads up! 😊
@@theasianbelle To be fair, Peppermint Patty always acted like a boy and may have been one of the first openly gender fluid characters. She wasn't merely a tomboy, she was always very boyish.
@@LordGrokken masculine girls exist, gender fluid means fluctuating between different genders, she was just masculine.
@@dreamywhales For the time period, that was pretty on the edge and people just rolled with it. And that was my point. Enough so that someone didn't realize Patty was a she in the artwork.
I caught that too. 😂
For writing, pronunciation and memory practice I've put the video on a bit slower and am writing, saying and reading the words as they go.
I'm planning on doing this multiple times to get a good grasp on remembering them :)
