While I am an unashamed kpop fan, kpop is only about 20% of why I am learning Korean. I have 3 family members adopted from South Korea, and while none of them spoke/speak the language, I wanted to honor and learn about the culture they are from. It is also a way for me to connect with an uncle who was more like an older brother as he passed two weeks before I graduated high school. And now that I am far enough in, it is just an absolutely beautiful language.
Your very right it is a beautiful language. K-pop Is only a part of why I am learning Korean and also dramas but I am also learning Korean cause I speak Spanish so this is going to be my third language and the next one is that I am really really into the Korean language so is my cousin,friend, and mom 💜

The best Korean language tips I know is that try studying Korean for 2 weeks when you get bored, try studying japanese and Chinese there you will know how easy Korean language is than those two😭😭😭

I'm learning Korean. So that someday should I ever get the opportunity to visit, I won't need to burden people for translation all the time. I think it would be more enjoyable to be able to communicate with the people around me.
When you listen to BTS members speak to each other, it should be very difficult to understand because they are all relatively young and do not clearly enunciate just like other 20s or early 30s. K dramas are easier because you can understand the storyline ans guess the meaning in context. I learned English through movies as well on top of traditional classroom English classes so I find learning a foreign language by watching TV shows really effective!

Thank you...I told myself that some of the English spellings do not correspond to the Korean spelling/answers...because for sure the way that "Chigum" is spelt as Korean in the video corresponds to "Jigeum"...that first syllable is a "J" and not a "Ch"
