Yup in my experience people that are calm and calculated have a good vocab and grammar and are often above intelligence. And Mike definitely is a very inventive and smart guy

Mike was a sharp character and the way he spoke while a man of few words conveyed his intelligence well.
Bryan must be really intelligent, you can tell his jokes are always so ... good, both in meaning and timing. I love him since Malcom in the Middle.
I know him from Malcolm, too. I mean, I guess. I watched Malcolm on TV a little in like end of 90's and start of 2000's? But I was a kid back then and I only learned he was the father in the Malcolm after I watched BB and I only watched it in 2010's after like 2015 when the whole show ended. So when I watched BB I didn't realize he was in Malcolm.

it's gorgeous. i've seen it referred to as the "fourth window": the skill of playing one intention to the other characters while letting the viewer see what you really feel (in this case - i hope i'm getting this right, i want to look smart like mike). i could gush all day about vince's casting of comedic actors for dramatic roles.
I love how you can see Bryan waiting for him to finish so he can say the joke, he even seems to begin to start it at times when he mistakenly thinks Jonathan is finished.
no matter how dramatic his role is, Bryan Cranston always has a sitcom personality

@@FrenchLightningJohn A lot of people do, actually. His character was a lot more complex than your standard pikey & hillbilly. Mike was very meticulous at what he does, so it made sense that he speaks in a grammatically correct way.

If I had to guess, Cranston was about to ask

...but the moment was too fleeting, so he kept sharpening the blade as he awaited the perfect "Plan B" moment to stick it in.
It's perfectly simple. "Who" refers to subject, "whom" refers to object. In exactly the same way as "he" refers to subject ("he told me") and "him" refers to object ("I told him"). We don't get "I/me" and "he/him" confused (not usually, anyway), so why should who/whom be any different?

You're right, btw. But "he" and "him" are pretty different, and "I" and "me" are highly different. But with "who" and "whom," there's only a single letter of distinction, tacked on at the end.

growing up in a rural area in the Midwest, I just couldn't understand why someone would be so mad that her husband was providing for her family by cooking meth?
Banks has always played such thugs. It’s wonderful to hear him parse a sentence.
I do the same with "I" and "me". Everyone just always goes with "I" now. If you and the other person aren't the subject of the sentence, USE "ME"!
Cranston is genuinely one of the most effortlessly funny people in the business. Turns any conversation into a killer punchline.
