I have an 8P 3.2 A3 I like the first gen 8V but they have taken horrible shape since then imo.
Been in a 450 bhp A45s and that was stupid quick with 4 people in.

Is this all on stock internals? I really would like to know what the power and torque limits are of the engine and gearbox.

torque limits on the gearbox are around 650nm and yes this car had stock internals, the internals are forged from factory
I like it wen he points and talks about what's there more of this would be good and how they increases performance or change characteristics

Is it just me or do newer cars not come across very fast on camera, but I would love to experience something like this. What an animal.
Sometimes I see that, same with the feeling you get when you drive it. Of course it depends on the car, but almost all newer cars are more refined and don’t feel as fast as some older cars.
I used to have a tuned mk7 Gti that beat my friends tuned evo 8 Mr, but that evo felt like it was much faster. My Gti would push you into the seat hard, but it was very refined and much more luxurious. The evo felt like an old tractor in comparison, but had more feeling

@@darren6589 I don’t follow what you mean? Obviously neither are ‘sports cars’ as such. But they are both relative (both 5dr German hatchbacks) and comparable.
The 45’s just don’t perform particularly well for their power level when modified. Gearbox is the weak link. I owned one for three years too. So don’t think I’m just trolling. Even that ran 11’s on the 1/4 at Stage 1 (420bhp).
I was thinking the same. Moogs golf r on night car mods at 500bhp was in to the 10’s

That intake is some serious bit of engineering and the only car in the uk to have one and the only other one is in Spain apparently,
This is the biggest downfall on the A45s the engines are so highly tuned that the intake manifold seems to be at its limit for air flow
Followed this a few days ago up to m62 out of huddersfield sounded awesome
A45’s are so nice, it’s a shame they’re like 25k. I think I’d rather just get a Golf R for 15k

There was a bloke on my street that had this exact model and his number plate was AMG YUM, he doesn't have this car anymore so Im assuming this is that car? It looks the exact same even the number plate but I'm sure his had raised lettering.

I deliver parcels for DPD and I seen a A45s in a guys garage I got talking to him and he claimed his was the fastest in the uk 👀he did give me the full list of spec and said it was 640bhp I actually said why don’t you contact Jamie officially gassed from RUclips and show us what it can do.. 🤔 maybe it was 420bhp 😂

630 bhp and still the original airbox which has a tiny inlet, he could go at least for the Arma full carbon which has a bigger one and has better dispersion of the air flew into the filter.
