Friends remember, Mexico is in Northamerica, Canada, United States and Mexico so the hook ups for electricity are the same, but if you are from Europe or Africa you have to bring a converter.
If we were Digital Nomads, we would consider working in Mexico City. To Work in Mexico City, Mexico, There is easier access to the U.S. for more business opportunities . Roma Norte offers
a great working vibe. Another fine video with great tips. Sending you much love and affection ❤❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Great video. Mexico city is an incredible place to live.
La Roma and De Valle are great places to live. Look for the local weekday open air markets (tianguis)
The Fundas or local budget eateries are just a couple of bucks for a full meal.
The bakeries are just incredible with tons of options like bolios fresh warm buns/rolls and pan dulce donuts/ pastries with a great coffee ☕
Thank you so much for the great suggestions!😁🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great Guide for planning trips! Amazing Information!
Great Video. Thank you for posting.
You are amazing my African brothers great contents
I watched ALL your videos before going to Bali last year & they were superbly helpful. I was thinking of going to Mexico City in a month & ofcourse, I run across you two again! Love following your adventures on video & then walking in your footsteps in person. My fav vlog couple hands down! Thank you so much!
Would you consider working from Mexico City? 😊
You two are so full of fun and zeal!
It is always a pleasure seeing where you go and what you two get up to, whilst there.
I love happy romance stories.
So, if you care to share, I would love to read and hear about how you two met and fell for one another.
I think I forgot to state that I have been to Mexico city once, waaaay back in 1967.
I can recall loving it a ton!
Huevos Rancheros was my favourite dish, but then again ... I was but a child, so my food and eating tastes were not yet THAT sophisticated.
Funny thing is that to this day, I adore the dish. It's rather like an omelette on steroids, really.
Chilaquiles is what I tend to think of as being glorified nachos.
Corn is such a huuuuge part of Mexican cuisine regardless of what part of Mexico one is in.
Oh, and before I go, I would like to say how grateful I am that you guys ❤ my comments! Sweet of you both! 😄
of course!
Do u guys speak Afrikaans?
A trip that always entertains me, I really enjoy it, warm greetings from Bandung, Indonesia 🚶🇮🇩
Love Indonesia from México, I’ve been there some months ago
Lovely vlog ❤
As a Pakistani I fully support love and respect South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂. May Allah SWT bless South Africa and its beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂
Mexico city looks great! I love your colourful hoodie Claire too :)
Thank you so much! I got it from Target😁🥰
Seems calm and safe
It really is🙌🏻
Great sharing brother, thank you 🥰
Thanks for visiting!
Setiap perjalanan dan liburan yang anda bawakan selalu menghibur dan saya sangat puas dengan sajian vidio yang anda berikan.
Makasih banyak!😁🙏🏻
Nice 👍
Did you visit pase de la reforma, santa fe or polanco?
you can use mexican sim cards also in Canada and the US without paying roaming or anything else :)
Oh really?! That’s awesome🙌🏻🙌🏻
How much did the Tour from hotel cost?
Hi Guys!! Fellow Saffa here! And I live in CDMX, are you guys still here? Found your channel when I began planning a vacation for my partner and I. Absolutely love your content!
Hey Saffa! No sorry, we’re back in South Africa🥹❤️
OMG, chilaquiles are my favorites, I love them, Mexico City has now, free WI-fi, remember bring your umbrella, and a jacket, it can be sunny and warm in the morning and rainy and cool in the afternoon.
Do you speak English there? Looks super nice, cheers from Geneva
In Mexico we speak spanish
In Mexico city they have tesla taxi service.
The real experience with Mexican food is in the streets, hope next time eat tacos in a proper "taqueria" and not in restaurants
We do!😁🙏🏻
İ heard mexico city has a papulation about 20mil … but it seems like not a busy city in your video
Can you please put ZAR prices alongside the prices of the country you're in since im assuming most of your followers are in South Africa?? Thanks
Hi Natasha, thank you for watching:) We have always put ZAR prices in every one of our videos:) Even in this video.
Nice that you were in mexico city, so sad that you just visit 2 neighborhoods 🙈 you lost polanco, santa fe, condesa, reforma, and tons of nice places, at list better than the historical center 🙈🙈🙈
Which jobs did you quit.?
Rhett was a lecturer at a university and Claire was a teacher😊
Guys, by the time you decamp from Mexico, I predict that you will no longer be bemoaning that you do not speak Spanish. If you two Sharpies can figure out how to do the digital-nomad thing, then ... you can learn the basics in Spanish. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy! 😊
8:40 G E N T R I F I C A C I Ó N, los locales están hartos, ya basta.
Don’t think y’all need to wear a mask outside🤣
Thank goodness😂
Heyy looking for a video editor??
Unfortunately not, we have one for now. Thank you😊🙏🏻
@@RhettandClaire no problem ✨
Are you able to find vegetarian food easily? How about managing without knowing any spanish?
Hi
We’re really not sure about the vegetarian food because we didn’t ever look properly. Hopefully someone can comment and help with that🙏🏻
You can totally manage without using Spanish, just always have the google translate app on you 😁
Vegetarian options should be fairly easy to find. Aside from Mexicos most famous food, (the taco), Mexican cuisine is actually largely Vegetarian.
Actually Roma and Condesa are very expensive! I'm mexican and if you want to know real mexican culture and better prices you should visit traditional mexican markets as well as tianguis which are located on the street, those are way cheaper than any place in Condesa or Roma
Yeah we said that in the video😬. Definitely more expensive. Thank you for the tips!🙏🏻
Please tell me how about the people? Are they nice to foreign people?
Yes, they are 😁🙏🏻
I think you are paying too much for food, no local would pay that much for a taco or any other food, ok, I understand, because of the area and the kind of restaurants is quite obvious it will cost moreare but, something interesting with Mexico is that it's not a very "intuitive" country to navigate, for example , quality and price are not always the same in Mexico when we talk about food, If you ask a local about their favorite place to eat, they won't mention any formal restaurant, every local people there will always tell you that the best food is in street stands or inside the local markets or in small family restaurants know as 'comida corrida", and the price is three or four times less than what you are paying, for example, with the same money you paid for three tacos in that restaurant you can buy five tacos, a big drink and even a dessert, and with what you paid for that soup you could buy a soup, a main course with a basket of tortillas, a drink (with refill option) and a dessert, in these places called "comida corrida"
Amazing! Locals always know best🙏🏻❤️. We’ll travel with a local friend next time to get a real taste of the food and pricing😁
Prices are getting expensive because of them, It's called gentrification 😂
Emigrants, you are emigrants, not digital nomads, you are welcome, but cut that crap👍🏼
Emigrant = a person who leaves their own country in order to settle permanently in another. We were in Mexico for 4 weeks…
Have you noticed how Hollywood movies use a yellow filter for Mexican scenes🙄 It sucks sometimes the view the world has of mexico. The drug lord battles are only in a few states and it’s between Mexicans. In fact, drug lords invest in hotels and tourist attractions so tourists are off limits
Thank you for letting us know🙏🏻🙏🏻
Me da risa que los gringos se llaman "expats" o "remote workers" solo porque no quieren llamarse asi mismos lo que son, inmigrantes XD
That would be true if we permanently moved to Mexico. We were only there for a few weeks😂
Yo viví en 7 países y nadie me llamo de otra forma , solo "expat" esa es la palabra no existe otra
Mojito is a Cuban drink not Mexican.
Oh really? Thank you for clarifying. We learnt something today🙏🏻
Why the mask? Note: Most locals don't live in Roma. Get real it doesn't represent the majority of residents.
What does Mexico smell like? You’re in Mexico learn the language. Corona isn’t Mexico beer. Educate yourself
Corona IS a Mexican beer, born in Mexico. Most of all Corona factories ARE in Mexico, what are you talking about. And for your information Mexico is the #1 beer exporter in the world, for several years in a row, surpassing Germany, the USA, Belgium, etc
Of course Corona is Mexican beer!! what are you saying!!! Is the beers that is sold around the world more than any other beer!!!!
Lol... don't be a hater!! And learn the FACTS.. CORONA is Mexican born beer... and you cant expect everyone to speak Spanish... plus they have been very considerare about it..🤓✌
