1:49 - The target's RES doesn't matter, as RES is percentage reduction. No matter the attacker's ATK value, it affects all potential attackers equally. Because of this, arts damage users having low ATK doesn't actually matter.

I REALLY want Goldenglow - I need a 6* single-target caster, and Mizuki needs his sister. But since I also really want Spalter, Irene, Gavialter and Ch'alter in the future, I'm only going to pull on her banner until I get a 6*, and no matter who that 6* is, that'll be that. Fingers crossed on that 50% chance...
Edit: I got her! Admittedly I broke my "one 6* only" pledge, but... damnit I wanted her and I felt gyped by the first 6* I got (Thorns). But whatever. I have her. Now I start saving.
Eyja might be getting into shop soon.
I just realized that GG was drawn by Namie as well, as a beeg fan of her now I feel like i need to get Goldenglow no matter what... saddly i dont even have 10 pulls ready...

@@imyournme6632 I've heard Thorns is going to be the next shoperator, so I'm gonna be spending my certs on him first. If Eyja shows up afterwards and I haven't used my leftovers on headhunting permits I'll definitely grab her, but even then I'll still want GG 'cause global range and Mizuki.

For goldenglow S3 targeting issue, it can be solved easily pairing with toddifon s1 as she mark heavy enemy (basically all boss is heavy as F anyway) allow goldenglow to focus all her s3 into one target.
Goldenglow 2ND skill is mediocre suitable for lazy strategy but it pair perfectly with skalter s2 especially in long fight like annihilation.
Goldenglow S1 look like standard powerup skill but thats not the case, it pair perfectly with her talent allow her to burst down some really tanky boss with her

Goldenglow is extremely powerful, she is the only caster I've seen that can really contend with Eyja in terms of both sheer damage and the amount of flexibility in her skills. Her S3 is almost always good, S1 for really short maps, and S2 is great in Annihilation, but S3 also works there.

Weird statement here, res is a percentage damage reduction rather than flat damage reduction like def, so it doesn't matter whether you are talking about ordinary caster archetypes like Core Caster that have higher base attack because the same percentage of damage is going to reduced in either scenario.

Yeah, the same percentage damage is reduced, but at the end of the day it is complicated for the Mech-Accord to dealt damage against high RES enemies.
Let's say you're going against an enemy with 50 RES. That's half the ATK of your Caster. GG has around 300, so her effective attack is 150. But if you use a Core Caster (or any other Arts unit) with 600, it becomes 300

Missed her the first time around but got her now, after just 20 pulls. Also Horn spooked me 2 days ago, another one I've missed. I couldn't be happier with my current pulls :D.
I came back to the game after a short break, and i managed to get Goldenglow on a single headhunt permit that i used for fun. im probably gonna e2 her soon, since I'd like another e2 Caster and i like her more than Ceobe (both playstyle and design wise). Good luck to everyone else pulling for her!

Hibiscus’s and Greyy’s are not limited.
They’re the 5* that is obtainable from the banner and will be added to the standard pool, unlike Specter and Gavial who are Limited 6* or Lava and Kroos who are Welfare Operator.
Unfortunately will have to skip (or hope she comes within the first 10 pulls) bc Ling banner pretty much depleted my originium/OP stock (esp bc I was trying to spark for Dusk for some reason...)
Definitely hope to get GG-chan someday though, she seems like a fun operator to use.
Dont let her low atk stat fool you, she attacks enemy with her drone, so it hits twice, not once. And if she has more than 1 bcos of her skills, it stacks up quite a bit

@@fredstead5652 I'd give her an 8 I think, she has a good dps, and while her drones blowing up and doing good burst dmg, it is a bit rng. However her skill does increase the number of her drones, which increases the chance of the drones to blow up. Also she is the only Caster as far as I know that can do global range (drone caster's drone does follow enemies until they either of them die when skill is activated, but they need to be in ranged normally, but she can do it from wherever). Also all 3 of her skill is pretty useful, unlike some 6 stars where some skill barely see any use.

@@phxbaka4356 Unfortunately I didnt manage to get her, so I cant really speak from experience. I'd give her a 6-7 out of 10. From what I've seen and what people say. As a splash caster, she can be useful for mob rushes, but normally mob rushes only consists of weak enemies anyway, which usually doesnt have high res or defence, so you can use anyone with aoe capabilities. It doesnt help that her atkspeed is very slow as an aoe caster, almost 3 seconds per attack. However her skillset is definitely the best out of any aoe casters so far. A 30% atk total buffing passive (42% with module lv3), she needs to be killing 15 (21) of them tho, so she'll often use her full power at annihilation the most. 2nd passive is also great, helps with early rush enemies, and one of the few casters that is capable of blocking. Imo all 3 of her skill is great, 1/2 is great general use skill, S2 being used as burst dmg and of course S3 is for stalling. S3 imo is pretty good for those bosses who hit hard and you dont have much choices to stall them or CC their attacks, but you may only use the skill once per stage, since it takes 100 seconds to recharge the skill, doesnt help if you redeploy her either cos it also takes 100 seconds to wait for her redeploy timer and skill to recharge back again, unless if you undeploy her when her skill duration is still active and/or have someone to be a battery/reduce deploy duration. Uh sorry if this is too long.
@@phxbaka4356 Ifrit only outclasses characters based on the layout of the tileset, meaning she is either an S or an F there is little imbetween with her.
Elja is very good damage wise but has limited AOE potential despite her S3 being so good, having a limit of 4 targets makes her usefulness dependant on the type of map and where she can be deployed. She is better only for taking out a set amount of tougher enemies.
Carnilian/Passanger would probably be a better comparison for Dusk as I can see more universal applications for both than the other two mentioned as they have true aoe and have more places to be deployed. Dusk is still probably the best AOE caster by a mile but of course since her archetype suffers from low attack speed she suffers in terms of dps.
Passanger after his module is god tier as both a support and a dps and one I would reccomend over dusk if you are looking for dps.
If you are looking for a safe caster that can burst enemies when required then you use Carnilian but of course you might have to deal with the fact she doesn't attack when her skill isn't active.
will definitely pull for her, I dont have Ceobe/Eyja so she is pretty good addition to my squad, and my caster roster is probably the worst since i dont build any except amiya and 2/3 stars
She won't be able to replace Eyja’s firepower, but will likely outshine Ceobe.

Goldenglow is still pretty strong and would outshine Ceobe’s DPS.
The only thing that Eyjafjalla has in advantage is her Skill 2 (limited in range) and Skill 3 (longer cooldown), while Goldenglow can be better in general uses due to her lower SP Cost for her Skill 1 and 3, while an unlimited duration on her Skill 2.
i played at asia where GG havent released yet but i got a chance to try her in i.S somehow , from free operator something ticket , a must get unit for sure

Gonna pass on this one. Saving for my girl Tsunrtr and I already have Ceobe (plus her new skin is probably out this week).
I love her but my 6* casters are pretty stacked, and Horn is an archetype I don't have :( Wanting to save 600+ pulls to get legacy limiteds on future banners, so she's a skip (maybe a 6* ticket purchase in the future though)
I'm debating on whether I should build Goldenglow or Passenger. It's big commitment and hard work. I'm having problems getting overwhelmed in some of the Annilation stages
I got her in 90ish pulls, RIP my stockpile. Still worth it tho, her banner also gave me Saileach and another Saga pot, PLUS I ended up with enough yellow certs to get Thorns and Astesia when the Standard Banner and shoperators rotated.

While it doesn’t say a lot about ops since some already have busted kits, being an operator that comes out, but the archetype itself doesn’t get a module (especially when it’s the norm of current day AK), speaks a lot of this catto’s power as an op
Strong operators without need of modules, makes you wonder how would they be if they ever get one like mountain, surtr and of course gg
I will try at least 10-20 pulls. Her skills look fun. I know people said they want to save for limited banner (so other 6* offbanner will spook you), but I don't think I have the patience to save a lot. Sometimes I'm tempted to pull..

I have a question. Her skill 3 says "attack +80%" but she is not attacking during the skill. Does that mean her drones get the attack buff as well?
Yes, and her drone have a similar stats like her from ATK and ASPD

Unlike Lava and Kroos who are Welfare Operator, Hibiscus and Greyy are the In-Banner 5*.
On a separate note, unless you are strictly a f2p player, I feel like going for the Monthly Card would still be worth getting.
I got her by complete accident with just 1 pull on her banner and she is the most luckiest accident that ever happen to me on this game period, I really appreciate her joining my unit

Alright, bite me, is she more useful than other upcoming operators (like Flammetta, Irene or Horn?) Frost mentioned that she's an MVP in #CC9, are there EVENT bosses she's REALLY good against? People say that she's 8/10 & a "side-grade" to Eyja, but I'm still wondering if I should pull (for reference I have Eyja & Ceobe (Also Surtr, but she isn't a caster :P))
Flammetta on the other hand looks more MEMEy (still good), but I think I'm good on snipers (W, Exia, Shwartz, BP, Rosa, Meteorite, Provence (and that's naming only E2 with varied levels).
Irene looks fun, Horn is interesting, but I'm kinda more interested in upcoming Alters, even if they aren't good. And obviously preparing to go all out on Gavial Alter banner, but it's a bit far.
As far as I understood horn is really good, fiammetta is more or less bad (or niche), goldenglow is quite strong. I personally was saving for fiammetta and horn, but I think that I would probably end up benching fiammetta, instead I've started to like goldenglow more and more for her uniqueness, she shouldn't even be that good at boss killing so I wouldn't consider that her niche. In the end it is your choice, I just think that she wouldn't be used in the same situations as ceobe, surtr and eyja.
