Irene is probably the must get out the bunch, with Horn being 2nd due to her being a somewhat unique ranged 6 star ground based AOE dmg dealer, 3rd being Specter Alter due to the Limited Banner and being an unkillable specialist "Guard".
I'm gonna be pulling for horn solely to buff blemishines attack more. This will not end until Blemi can kill hellfire patriot in 1 s3 cycle. And it still won't end then.

Or I could go for Literally any sleeper, or defender buffer, or whislash, etc. And Horn has pretty extreme dps, especially when comboed with the outright attack buff for blemishine on top of that
S2 is Fiammetta's recommended skill yeah. In the right zone enemy can get ridiculous damage. S3 is more situational. If you don't/can't deploy Archetto or Ch'en, pair her with E2 Saria's S2 to make her S2 truly spammable. With Saria's upcoming module upgrade to make anyone she heals gets 2 SP, it's getting more ridiculously spammable.
Yeah I don't really agree with his conclusion that her damage is meh. She has absurd burst damage with her S2, even taking huge chunks out of Patriot defenders, and then S3 makes up for the lower dps by hitting super hard, allowing her to damage through high defense, and having huge aoe. I really think he undersells how good she can be.
Off branch ops will always have a place because CC likes to randomly present “no you aren’t allowed to use your toys” contracts. I’ve honestly grown to hate class-ban tags more than even the DP down or “you have no HP” tags. Also cuz when those tags don’t exist, just having more dupes of the same archetype under different classes gives more niche expansion.
Coming from CN player Horn and Irene are absolutely banger For IS#2 run Irene is bonkers and can sometimes outclass Thorns because the early stages of IS#2 throwing hard ass enemies on you Horn is basically CC#9 high risk meta and i didn't regret every single bit lvl 90 M9 her
I'll have to see how my Ling pulls go, if I'm lucky, I can try going for 1 6* on Horn's banner, but I prioritize Limited banners. I'm glad Specter Alter (mainly with Module) and iREEEEEne are good, kinda like the Skalter+Kal Banner (tough I'd rate those two a bit higher), I don't like Limited Banners where the 2nd featured Operator feels like drawing a (bad) dupe.
i have 200k orundums rn, and i was planning to pull for Ling but then, the operators between Ling-Spectre Alter are great, and Spectre Alter banner is so much better than Ling banner. I want Horn, Irene, Spectre Alter, Ling, and Fiametta, in that order i guess.
all this years i loved the small animations ystar created for this game and how they treated the players in general but i always stoped myself from trying the game thinking"tower def games arent for me". after watching the 1st ep of the animu i sr8 up downloaded the game to try it,i got shining,angelina and exusiai from my 1st multi on the beginer banner and then i got horn from the 1st....yes,the 1st single i did on her banner!i got blown away by how generous this gacha is and now im hype for it(3+ years late xD ). i have no idea how/when to spend my pulls so your vid really helped,thnx.
Welcome! The game is very generous compared to other gachas but u got lucky af for sure lol. I think the avg is one out of every 40 is a 6*. Not to mention u got some good general use ops!

@@84ganta in this game, the 4 stars are crucial. sure the 6s can carry you but they require a weeks worth of farming to get their potential online. 4s on the other hand you can E2 a few per day and bring them almost everywhere. real suggestions: e1 max a 4 star of every type that u don't have the meta version in a higher star. (normal specter is op so you don't need another aoe block 4* guard. same with exu ang and shining. don't bother with raising 4* anti air sniper, slow supporter, or single target healers.) make sure to have at least 1 op from every niche max e1'd so you're not op-blocked from any content

my plan is get minimum 2 6* in ling banner -> get 1 6* in GG banner -> skip fiammetta -> get 1 6* in horn banner -> get passenger in his rerun -> and spend all in spalter (need 300 for rosmontis)
I used to play Arknights using all-female teams until I got banned from Facebook and losing my 20 6* account. i forgot to bind with other platforms. But now starting a new account I actually opted to use more male characters and realized how much more fun it is for me. So out of all the upcoming ones I only wanted Irene while patiently waiting for Tequila's rerun, spamming Gnosis' banner, etc. Maybe save if it's a DMC Collab.
I haven't seen that scene so I can't say anything about that but when I think of horn with aak buff and shemare doll debuff I'm already seeing damage numbers of 10k+
Since its probs gonna be a DMC collab im wondering if Dante should be a Liberator or a Swordmaster Liberator so h3 can say Royal Guard when hes in defensive mode and Swordmaster when hes in offensive mode, and Swordmaster archetype because...i mean its in the name, and wuth Irene and Tachunky Gunslinger can be used in Swordmaster archetype too
Im a huge DMC fan and I love the idea of Dante but I want him to be very versatile like in the games. I'm going to write a lot since reading what you wrote got me in the mood. Lady: Anti-Air Marksman. 4 star. Talent: The Walking Arsenal- skills remove enemy armor by 100. (Can stack) Skill 1: Kalinna Ann- 5SP Offense Recovery- Deals massive damage in a small AOE on their next attack. Skill 2: Cluster Bombs- 30SP Auto Charge- can be activated early but deals less damage and has a smaller AOE, when fully charged it deals massive damage to enemies in a very large AOE Trish: Brawler. 4 Star Talent: Electricity generation and manipulation- Each hit has a 30% chance of doing arts damage, stunning a target for 1 second and applies a 3 second fragile effect Skill 1: Discharge- 5sp offensive recovery- Shocks all enemies in the 8 surrounding tiles and applies 2nd talent effect. (auto recover and use) decent true damage and grants some range Skill 2: Doppleganger, attack rate doubled and while active Vergil will leave his default position to teleport to and target random enemies on the map. Skill 3: Sin Devil Trigger- Increases all stats and at the end performs a judgment cut EX which Nukes the screen with massive true damage and plays "BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIN" very long Auto recovery. Dante: Legendary Devil hunter- ??? specialist class Talent 1: Son of Sparda same as Vergil. talent 2: Sword-Trick-Gun-Sword...- When deployed on range tiles he has the range of a sniper. Melee tile has the range of a lord. Skill 1: Basic afk auto Charge skill, uses double kalina ann for ranged aoe explosions, swordmaster summoned blades for extra melee burst damage. Skill 2: Devil Triggers. Auto Offense Recovery, can store up to 2 charges. Using when at 2 puts Dante into SDT where he gains massive stats and aoe damage in his range. When used normally it just increases all stats at a lesser extent. Skill 3: A stronger version of skill 1 where Dante performs The Luce or Judgment (Did Not Finish Nero, Vergil, Dante)

I could maybe see them teaming up with umbrella to use nemesis Wesker and other things but regular humans don't fit the setting too much when we got things like Tallulah burning entire villages and Patriot tanking attacks that can destroy skyscrapers, mephisto making basically super zombies and the likes of frostnova and others just effecting entire city blocks with their attacks with prep. Guns will still work against the weaker enemies and maybe middle tier enemies in arknights but there are a lot of superhumans like blaze who can helidrop higher than skyscrapers.and has fast regeneration. In the pynus sylvestris event each silver knight that stationed outside the city was also said to cleave through a building when they swung their swords and Nearl competes with one. Sadly RE has a good chance of happening since the remake for 4 is coming out soon and also the RE Village dlc so they are getting some more attention and may be used for promotion.
Funnily enough, I will only go for one pity on Ling, try my damn hardest to get Fiammeta and Horn, and then proceed to elegantly completely ignore Specalter. The game really gets less stressful when limited ops don't interest me, especially after shit shows like 230 Dusk pulls, 300 spark Kal'tsit (a regrettable choice I know) and fucking Pot 6 Flametail 300 spark Nearlter happen. Keep at it HG ! Release the ops I want as regular ones it'll make my day better.
I had originally planned to pull for Horn and Fiammetta but Irene made me change my priorities so my current plan is Ling, Goldenglow and Irene. It's not that I don't want to get Horn or Fiammetta because I do but I liked Irene as an NPC when she was first introduced so having a chance to get her as an operator is something I can't miss. Ling is basically guaranteed for me at this point (already past 300 pulls) but depending on how Ling pulls go it may affect my chances of getting Goldenglow who I also really want to get. I hope I can get Ling and Goldenglow soon so I'll be able to save more pulls for Irene.
The Spalter overview wasn't very good. The doll is the strongest part of her kit by a lot since the module upgrades, to the point s2 is her most used skill since it kills her and lets her choose when to go doll mode, but you barely even mentioned the doll. Also Fiammetta's main skill is her s2, not s3.
he did mention the module fixes her issue with the doll though the review is also trying to highlight her normal kit which tends to be overlooked ever since the module upgrade i do actually think her skills can be better though, even when most people seem to be fine by them
This video is an overview, so I’d have to cut out some of the more complex things out of it (though, now that I see a bunch of comments pointing out Fia’s S2 is her main skill, I probably should’ve highlighted that more). I know Specter’s module synergizes with her S2 more, but many clears I’ve seen (JT8-3 Abyssal Hunters only, 7-18 CM 2 Specialist Duo) opt for S3. the video was already hell to edit because it was 14 minutes long any longer and i would be crying myself to sleep appreciate the feedback though

Now that Ling Banner is now at the corner, I might not be pulling for Fiametta which is sad but if Ling comes early might be pulling for her. As for Horn, even though she's a impressive Operator, I will not pulling for her reason is I already have all 6star Defender (except for Eunectes) and doesn't use much Defender aside from Mudrock and Saria. For Irene and Spalter, I might just use free pulls and If I get either one of them then that's good but Spalter is much appreciated xD.
For Fiametta's s3, isn't 'mediocre' (though it's still like 1000+ damage baseline without her talent or any other bonus, up to +3.8k damage in your showcase) damage kind of the point of her role, what with the increased range and damage making it an excellent skill to constanly damage a large area, weakening tough enemies while outright destroying weaker ones? The S2 has some very nice damage, absolutely, but wouldn't it lose out in overall dps? I'm also amused when you mentioned the little problem of Horn's s1, when the skill showcased right before that (Fiametta's s3 again) already solved that issue by not needing an enemy to fire, so I'm not sure why Horn could have gotten the same (unless it's just 'she already was too op lol').
You forgor to mention that Horn can melee her grenades and that she can be relatively suitable frontline defender if needed be but just isn't used like that for efficiency reasons.
tbh I have a lot of 6*s and I skipped some 6*s well maybe 3 of them but the ones I want is Fiammetta (have lots of 6*s invested), Horn (I love her design), and obviously 2 new operators on the Limited banner next which I wanted to have.
Ashlock is unfortunately too weak - low skill duration and quite low damage. Horn is pretty much the only choice if you want this type of operator who can attack long range from the ground, besides the ranged guards who have lower max range.
I really don't know which one is better between Irene and Spalter; I have no specialist (other than executors & the firefighterpushingenemiesaround) but at the same time Irene seems like a good helidrop and I have none either (was planning to raise Utage tho). And I like both characters, Specter for carrying me as 5* since the beginning, and Irene for being Kiana (+ tsundere in Undertides).
Irene is not helidrop, she stays on field because of her low sp cost. She also needs to attack to gain sp, not something you want on helidrop operators.
I'm definitely pulling for Irene. How could anyone not? She's literally a DMC character!

all this years i loved the small animations ystar created for this game and how they treated the players in general but i always stoped myself from trying the game thinking"tower def games arent for me". after watching the 1st ep of the animu i sr8 up downloaded the game to try it,i got shining,angelina and exusiai from my 1st multi on the beginer banner and then i got horn from the 1st....yes,the 1st single i did on her banner!i got blown away by how generous this gacha is and now im hype for it(3+ years late xD ). i have no idea how/when to spend my pulls so your vid really helped,thnx.
Welcome! The game is very generous compared to other gachas but u got lucky af for sure lol. I think the avg is one out of every 40 is a 6*. Not to mention u got some good general use ops!

@@84ganta in this game, the 4 stars are crucial. sure the 6s can carry you but they require a weeks worth of farming to get their potential online.
4s on the other hand you can E2 a few per day and bring them almost everywhere.
real suggestions: e1 max a 4 star of every type that u don't have the meta version in a higher star. (normal specter is op so you don't need another aoe block 4* guard. same with exu ang and shining. don't bother with raising 4* anti air sniper, slow supporter, or single target healers.)
make sure to have at least 1 op from every niche max e1'd so you're not op-blocked from any content

I used to play Arknights using all-female teams until I got banned from Facebook and losing my 20 6* account. i forgot to bind with other platforms. But now starting a new account I actually opted to use more male characters and realized how much more fun it is for me. So out of all the upcoming ones I only wanted Irene while patiently waiting for Tequila's rerun, spamming Gnosis' banner, etc. Maybe save if it's a DMC Collab.

Im a huge DMC fan and I love the idea of Dante but I want him to be very versatile like in the games.
I'm going to write a lot since reading what you wrote got me in the mood.
Lady: Anti-Air Marksman. 4 star.
Talent: The Walking Arsenal- skills remove enemy armor by 100. (Can stack)
Skill 1: Kalinna Ann- 5SP Offense Recovery- Deals massive damage in a small AOE on their next attack.
Skill 2: Cluster Bombs- 30SP Auto Charge- can be activated early but deals less damage and has a smaller AOE, when fully charged it deals massive damage to enemies in a very large AOE
Trish: Brawler. 4 Star
Talent: Electricity generation and manipulation- Each hit has a 30% chance of doing arts damage, stunning a target for 1 second and applies a 3 second fragile effect
Skill 1: Discharge- 5sp offensive recovery- Shocks all enemies in the 8 surrounding tiles and applies 2nd talent effect. Skill also does arts damage
Skill 2: Overcharge- 60SP Auto Recover. Increases talent proc chance to 55%, adds +35% attack and deals arts damage on basic attacks.
V: Aura-Bard. 6 Star.
Talent: Mysterious one. Range Expands. Summons can only be healed by V.
Talent: Other Half: When Vergil is deployed unit and summons are disabled and invisible until Vergil Leaves the field.
Skill 1: Coordinated attack: 20sp auto recovery: Summons gain 250% attack increase and activate their skills simultaneously.
Skill 2: Devil Trigger. 90sp offensive recovery buildup by all summons. Duration 10 seconds. All summons are healed to full, activate their skills and gain a 150% attack increase.
Griffon: Ambusher. Deals arts damage.
Talent: Shock- 30% chance to slow down targets by ?% for 3 seconds
Skill: Blockade - deals 150% arts damage by raining down pillars of electricity in 4 random grids centered on unit.
(During V's Skills blockade changes to Round Robin and deals damage on all 9 grids centered on unit.)
Shadow: Pusher. Deals physical damage.
Talent: Shapeshifter- has a 30% of dodging attacks
Skill: Breakthrough- 8sp offensive recovery. Slowly moves up original positions' range and deals 150% physical damage to all enemies in range and pushes them back (lvl 2). Also gains 100% dodge chance during skill use. (One skill ends returns to original position)
(During V's Skills Breakthrough changes to Skewer which instead of dodge removes 200 armor has a 2 second startup and has overwhelming push strength (lvl 4 but can't knock bosses into their death only to the edge)
Nightmare: Emnity Juggernaut
Talent: Destruction- Range increases to surrounding 8 tiles, attacks all enemies in range, increases DP cost to 40 and recovery time to 40 seconds.
Skill 1: Domination. Domination activates when Nightmare is summoned while there is no enemies in the surrounding 8 tiles. Fires a laser that is 3 blocks wide with infinite range in the direction Nightmare is facing and immediately leaves the field. Deals 250% of Arts damage in the tiles directly in front and 125% in the tiles on both sides. Attack lasts 3 seconds and has a 3 second wind-up
Skill 2: Spin Combo- When there are enemies within the 8 tiles surrounding Nightmare when summoned it does a spin stunning all enemies for 0.75 second per hit (4 hits) and deals 175% physical damage.
(While V's DT is active redeploy time resets to 0 if on cooldown, Nightmare is summoned causing a true damage AOE and can stay an extra 10 seconds after using one of their skills.
The next ones aren't done, I started rushing them since it was getting late, I may edit to finish them later.
Nero: Puller 6 star.
Talent: Devil Bringer. enemies that fall in-front of Nero has a 30% chance to be held for 30 seconds each enemy held increases Nero's hp by 40% (up to 2 held enemies with DT)
Skill 1 Snatch- auto recover deals good pull and physical damage.
Skill 2 Buster- offensive recover- manual activation and deals massive burst damage in an aoe.
Skill 3 DT- increases all stats, offensive recovery and gives hp regen.
Vergil: Fast Redeploy/Executor but I'm leaning more towards Lord: 6 star
Talent 1: Other half- when V is in the field Vergil doesn't take up a deployment slot but still consumes DP. Also V can't be deployed while Vergil is in the field.
Talent 2: Son of Sparda. Gains 10% hp regen per second. can't be healed even by other passives.
Skill 1: Judgement Cut. (auto recover and use) decent true damage and grants some range
Skill 2: Doppleganger, attack rate doubled and while active Vergil will leave his default position to teleport to and target random enemies on the map.
Skill 3: Sin Devil Trigger- Increases all stats and at the end performs a judgment cut EX which Nukes the screen with massive true damage and plays "BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIN" very long Auto recovery.
Dante: Legendary Devil hunter- ??? specialist class
Talent 1: Son of Sparda same as Vergil.
talent 2: Sword-Trick-Gun-Sword...- When deployed on range tiles he has the range of a sniper. Melee tile has the range of a lord.
Skill 1: Basic afk auto Charge skill, uses double kalina ann for ranged aoe explosions, swordmaster summoned blades for extra melee burst damage.
Skill 2: Devil Triggers. Auto Offense Recovery, can store up to 2 charges. Using when at 2 puts Dante into SDT where he gains massive stats and aoe damage in his range. When used normally it just increases all stats at a lesser extent.
Skill 3: A stronger version of skill 1 where Dante performs The Luce or Judgment

I could maybe see them teaming up with umbrella to use nemesis Wesker and other things but regular humans don't fit the setting too much when we got things like Tallulah burning entire villages and Patriot tanking attacks that can destroy skyscrapers, mephisto making basically super zombies and the likes of frostnova and others just effecting entire city blocks with their attacks with prep.
Guns will still work against the weaker enemies and maybe middle tier enemies in arknights but there are a lot of superhumans like blaze who can helidrop higher than skyscrapers.and has fast regeneration. In the pynus sylvestris event each silver knight that stationed outside the city was also said to cleave through a building when they swung their swords and Nearl competes with one.
Sadly RE has a good chance of happening since the remake for 4 is coming out soon and also the RE Village dlc so they are getting some more attention and may be used for promotion.

Funnily enough, I will only go for one pity on Ling, try my damn hardest to get Fiammeta and Horn, and then proceed to elegantly completely ignore Specalter. The game really gets less stressful when limited ops don't interest me, especially after shit shows like 230 Dusk pulls, 300 spark Kal'tsit (a regrettable choice I know) and fucking Pot 6 Flametail 300 spark Nearlter happen.

Horn taking offense is the best defense literally.
Fiammetta s3 doing around 3000 dmg near center and 1600 in the aoe nearly every 2.5 seconds "Only offers mediocre damage" ....alright if you say so
I'm so excited about Irene and Spealter that I'm really going to skip absolutely everything, including Fiammenta even though I love Laterano
I had originally planned to pull for Horn and Fiammetta but Irene made me change my priorities so my current plan is Ling, Goldenglow and Irene. It's not that I don't want to get Horn or Fiammetta because I do but I liked Irene as an NPC when she was first introduced so having a chance to get her as an operator is something I can't miss. Ling is basically guaranteed for me at this point (already past 300 pulls) but depending on how Ling pulls go it may affect my chances of getting Goldenglow who I also really want to get. I hope I can get Ling and Goldenglow soon so I'll be able to save more pulls for Irene.
The Spalter overview wasn't very good. The doll is the strongest part of her kit by a lot since the module upgrades, to the point s2 is her most used skill since it kills her and lets her choose when to go doll mode, but you barely even mentioned the doll.
Also Fiammetta's main skill is her s2, not s3.
Yea the Fia and Spectre Alter overviews seem intentionally in bad faith.

the review is also trying to highlight her normal kit which tends to be overlooked ever since the module upgrade
i do actually think her skills can be better though, even when most people seem to be fine by them
This video is an overview, so I’d have to cut out some of the more complex things out of it (though, now that I see a bunch of comments pointing out Fia’s S2 is her main skill, I probably should’ve highlighted that more). I know Specter’s module synergizes with her S2 more, but many clears I’ve seen (JT8-3 Abyssal Hunters only, 7-18 CM 2 Specialist Duo) opt for S3.

Now that Ling Banner is now at the corner, I might not be pulling for Fiametta which is sad but if Ling comes early might be pulling for her. As for Horn, even though she's a impressive Operator, I will not pulling for her reason is I already have all 6star Defender (except for Eunectes) and doesn't use much Defender aside from Mudrock and Saria.
For Irene and Spalter, I might just use free pulls and If I get either one of them then that's good but Spalter is much appreciated xD.

For Fiametta's s3, isn't 'mediocre' (though it's still like 1000+ damage baseline without her talent or any other bonus, up to +3.8k damage in your showcase) damage kind of the point of her role, what with the increased range and damage making it an excellent skill to constanly damage a large area, weakening tough enemies while outright destroying weaker ones? The S2 has some very nice damage, absolutely, but wouldn't it lose out in overall dps?
I'm also amused when you mentioned the little problem of Horn's s1, when the skill showcased right before that (Fiametta's s3 again) already solved that issue by not needing an enemy to fire, so I'm not sure why Horn could have gotten the same (unless it's just 'she already was too op lol').
You forgor to mention that Horn can melee her grenades and that she can be relatively suitable frontline defender if needed be but just isn't used like that for efficiency reasons.

tbh I have a lot of 6*s and I skipped some 6*s well maybe 3 of them but the ones I want is Fiammetta (have lots of 6*s invested), Horn (I love her design), and obviously 2 new operators on the Limited banner next which I wanted to have.
I didn't know I needed Horn until now. At least I know what to save for after Ling now.
Ashlock is unfortunately too weak - low skill duration and quite low damage. Horn is pretty much the only choice if you want this type of operator who can attack long range from the ground, besides the ranged guards who have lower max range.
I really don't know which one is better between Irene and Spalter; I have no specialist (other than executors & the firefighterpushingenemiesaround) but at the same time Irene seems like a good helidrop and I have none either (was planning to raise Utage tho).
And I like both characters, Specter for carrying me as 5* since the beginning, and Irene for being Kiana (+ tsundere in Undertides).
Irene is not helidrop, she stays on field because of her low sp cost. She also needs to attack to gain sp, not something you want on helidrop operators.
