Honestly one of the best discoveries I've ever made in my plant growth business is this revelation. I've always been concerned about the effects organic fertilizer on soil microbes but now I've learnt how to combine both organic and inorganic fertilizers in a way that the plant will thrive on both and soil microbes will have not only the opportunity to live but also continue in their productive role of providing nutrients for plant growth. Thanks for providing this information free of charge. Picture me rolling in my new found discovery.
I think the layout of crops in the field would have to be different to allow for machinery to spray the crops and not damage the plants. Most typical fertilizer is applied in the fall to allow for breakdown for spring. With foliar feeding, it is applied during the growing of the crops at intervals. Unless the foliar spray is done by plane, there must be unplanted "roads" throughout the field so the spray arms can reach out and cover the plants. Foliar feeding can be done with homemade foliar spray made from a variety of substances, both natural (manure, fish emulsion, seaweed) and manufactured. Relatively small amounts of foliar fertilizer is needed, compared to soil fertilizer as uptake is much more effective.

Like they do with RR soybeans and corn? Spray it with glyphosate after it's growing, multiple times. All you need is tire tracks for the spray buggy.
I farm in high PH areas so I tissue sample for each crop, it pays, and then feed as per crop and best practices for yields.
Are All types Of fertilizer can apply to Plants?
Sap analysis will tell you what minerals you need for a foliar application.
just wow!
From Tanzania
Can we construed that foliar be the substitute of conventional soil feeding of the fertilizers?
Yes
