@@drakewalkermusic Hi to be honest, I think Logic Pro is still more stable on Intel Mac’s (like the Intel Mac Mini or the MacBook Pro, Mac Pro) because the software is more developed for Intel. Disagree. Intel MacBooks still worth purchasing. It comes down to price. The Vega 20s, the Rx 5500-5600m are fantastic to this day. they are versatile due to the x86. I can’t disagree more with this video.
Exactly. I got a 2019 15" 32gb ram, 512gb storage and Vega 20. Who ever bought it originally also went for the 2.4ghz i9! It's a beast! I got it for less than $800 last month. At first it was slow and hot. But after a bit it's now running much better. I assume it was just the system downloading and indexing a lot of files in icloud and such. My battery life is quite reduced from original but still can last at least 5 hours of RUclips. And the keyboard is perfectly working! There is no reason to pass these machines off just because they aren't "perfect" or as "powerful" as the newer machines. They can still do so much! People look on these machines as bad because they only see everything as compared to the latest. Not everyone needs to go out and spend $4000 on a new laptop for basic needs. People even still use 2012 MacBooks today. This laptop plus my 2019 iMac will continue to last me for many years. I even upgraded the iMac with more ram and storage and it's even better! False
I'm planning on getting this as my WFH workstation because I need a large screen, I already have a Macbook Air M1 which is the best purchase I've ever made (I won't sell it anytime soon) but the screen is way too small for me, I used to daily drive a 2011 15" Macbook Pro which is the reason I'm too used to large screens lol, and also the price for this 2018 is around $500 already
thank you the video.
