An extremely bright student has made more sense explaining her situation and how to make sense out of all this chaos than any of the staff at Columbia talking to the public.
Understand this: There are plenty of people like me - non Jewish and non Israeli and who are done with the Palestinian cause. And when I say done, I mean DONE. No more. Crush it by any means necessary. It's because we have seen this movement very closely. We have heard all their arguments. And we have seen their values. And we have also seen the other side. The side which largely believes in progress, scientific discovery, decency, freedom and liberty. As pro-Palestinians rage on in the streets and college campuses in the West, they should remember that they are hardening hearts. I lost all and any sympathy for these people long ago. And this isn't about being pro-Israel. Israel can take care of its own business. This is about this movement being a pro-terrorist movement. This is about any future Palestinian state guaranteed to be a terror state. Heck, if Israel agrees to accept a Palestinian state tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I'd be in opposition to that. Because this is about being against terrorism. This is about regional and global security. Israel is simply a very small part of it. This movement has tried to hijack everything it has come in contact with. It has destroyed countless innocent lives on both sides. Any person with two brain cells should at the very least look at this movement with deep suspicion. Pro-Palestinians say "resistance by any means necessary". But I say fight terrorism by any means necessary. Wake up People ! Everybody in the Free West, for the moment still free, needs to stand up and support Israel and the Jews worldwide a 100%. Their fight against radical islam from the Ayatollahs in Iran and their Proxies like Hamas, hezbollah, Houthis, Islamic Jihad is ours too, their fate will be ours too. Don’t fool yourself. If Israel falls today, we will fall tomorrow !
You are so right! There needs to be an open discussion regarding Islamism and the danger it poses to the West without being labeled as Islamophobia! There is a reason no country in the M.E is taking Palestinian refugees, the reason is that moderate Muslim countries don't want the Muslim Brothers among them. Kwaite just dissolved the parliament for that reason. Those M.E. countries will be safer than Europe if you don't wake up soon!
