Arcane will be the animated series of this century.. The beauty in the show is how its able to use the visuals more than dialogue to tell and express emotions in the story. Along with the music incorporated, it just made every important scene that much more impactful and noteworthy remembering. I've watched many animated shows, but this one made me stick like glue to every single moment of the episode, every single moment felt like it had meaning and no wasted fillers/space was added.

Many of the criticisms are unfounded, in my opinion, with lots of people just failing to understand the nuances of all the character development. Like Cait, for example. I thought her arc made perfect sense. But I understand why someone would find it jarring that Viktor suddenly became a major antagonist in the penultimate episode, and I certainly would have liked a bit more explanation regarding the whole Black Rose subplot. I kept having to pause and rewind in an effort to make sense of what was being said about it. But, overall, I loved every single episode of this show, and its characters will forever hold a place in my heart. RIP Viktor, Jayce, Isha, Vander, Mylo, Claggor, Silco, and Felicia.

The show didn't have quite the space to tell the entire story of the second season within the bounds of nine episodes, and maintain quite the same insane level of narrative quality that the first season had. Little details and nuances that didn't quite shine through (I would've liked just a teeny tiny bit more of Ginger Hair-bob where he isn't just a coniving little shit, but rather deeply in love with Caitlyn, and genuinly hurt at her betrayal. Honestly, a few frames at the right time could've added so much to the humanity of the character, and the fallibilty of Caitlin - don't diddle your subordinates). That said, I feel like the things that bothered me were, all things considered, very minor things. And the show is already the most expensive animated series ever made. Unfortunately, they have to turn some sort of profit - and considering the quality of the product, they damn well deserve it. I'm also getting the feeling that while the coming shows based on the LoL universe will not feature Piltover, this isn't the last we've seen of some of the characters. Mel is obviously hitting a new trajectory for her character, and Cait and Vi sailing off on that airship towards the horizon very much felt like we might see them again, only in a different place.
Watching this was the first time I realized how musically similar Wasteland is to What Could Have Been from season 1. Both are about jinx at the end of their respective seasons, and mirror how she almost ends up in a similar place. Masterful work.
All songs were arranged in such beautiful ways, but a real hats off to Paint the Town Blue and Come Play. The way the raps were arranged was so impressive.
Luckily we will receive more league series like arcane! For example about noxus, demarcia etc. We will have to wait some years for it tho I bet. They are already working on it as far as I know. But I’d loved to see more about the world of arcane as well … I will miss the characters, since most of them will probably not be part of the other series

Christopher Linke apparently said that we will see more of Ekko and Jinx and when he was asked about CaitVi he said "There are things on the horizon that would keep their story going, but these projects are huge in scope, budget and required head count. Plus subjective, momentary creative execution makes or breaks these endeavors. So I cannot say for sure. Maybe. Maybe not. I wish I knew." and this sends me to the moon. We can only hope for now. Edit: He also said that we will see more of Viktor and Jayce.

Beautiful, I still can't understand how it's even possible to find all these musicians, composers and create music that's so perfectly suited to everything that happens in the Series... What a titanic and talented job was done. Sometimes you don't have to take the easy way out and run to Hans Zimmer to get another banger. Sometimes you have to give independent talented people a chance to show what they are capable of. And Christian Linke did it. He was able to show people's potential once again. The potential of humanity to create beauty and love :)

I really liked the way you made the composition but for me it lacks a little more dramticness to it, for example in both choruses of Remember Me, What have They Done To Us and The Line. for me it just lacked a bit more GRITT, if u know what I mean. a stronger kick... But all in all OUTSTANDING!

I know I'm probably insane, but I would love to see an attempt of Cocktail Molotov be played on piano. I feel like it is possible, I'd love to see how drastically different it sounds, and see you really be beating the piano in an attempt to play that lol. Seeing an adaptation of something so different be done on piano is super interesting to me.
