Yes Sir. My friends Trike is clean. I'll post a video of his trike in two weeks. I installed four Cicada audio speakers on his bike. Very impressive highs and plays down to 55hz
you may have set the dsp to 35 hz, but they are not playing at 35 hz. Stock bags after woofer displacement you might have .70 of a cubic foot. 50 at best.
Hey just Dave I just completed 4th cicada upgrade. Stay tuned. .... I'll be testing three different 8 Mid Base drivers side by side Ground Zero, cicada and euphoria.
Question. You have them 8s tuned to 35hz in open bags? I’m assuming those are midbass drivers. You may have a better bass response if you tune them higher than 35hz. Does the specs for them 8s say they can play down to 35hz?
Yes. Here is the speaker info. DIAMOND AUDIO HXM8 FULL RANGE 8" WOOFER Lol. Sorry for the giant font. I copied/ paste. The frequency specs is 35hz to 23khz. I only set it to 35 to find outt how low it will go. It isn't producing 35hz. Its more like 45-50hz. If I had more bag space I'm sure it will get lower. I got even more volume from a kicker RT8 in same bag. I'll upload video soon. I decided to go with the Cicada pro midbass 8 this spring. I think I'll be all good then. I may only need one on an 800.1 amp.
I have a sub output on my Sony HU. It is so much easier to use a DSP for the sub output. It gives you so much control. I'm running kicker rt 8 inch sub rt now. With rockford fosgate DSR1 and RF Bass knob. I'll upload video soon.
@@robleeva I have a HKI mini DSP running 8 speakers now, but they are crossed over 80htz and above. I want to run 8’s from my sub output from the HU. It has a very nice crossover built in. But I don’t think I can run a mid bass. From a sun output Kicker does have an 8” sub specifically designed to run with minimal air space. I’m thinking I can play it up to 60 or 80 htz???
@@robertdavis5495 I know it will sound great coming from hki dsp. If DSP is full, you gotta go for it. In theory it should work fine if HU has high quality sound processing. In my opinion you gotta get to 50hz in bags

Today I started planning a trip to Reno Nevada and wanted to load up my bags with gear but remembered that harley has a recommended maximum weight limit. 15 lbs each bag. I decided to put my bags in a scale and I think I need to loose some weight. Each bag weighs 27 lbs. Stock bags weigh 12 lbs. Sounds good/clean no rattles but I have some work to do. I'm hoping to loose 5 lbs
Sounds like we are about the same age. Yes sir some.Van Halen will be perfect. I'll check apple music for a remastered version and play it on the Trike
Looks great both especially the rims on that trike

Definitely not below 50.
I set dsp to 35 just to experiment with how low it will go with no distortion. Gotta test the limits
Sounds great bro, bike is killer too...
Just bought some diamond audio for my bike, hope the sound is as clear as yours...
Thanks Bro. Ya man. Can't go wrong with Diamond.
Sounds AWESOME!!

Yes specs say it plays down to 35hz. Kicker calls it a shallow sub
Do you have a link to the speakers that were in the bags? I tried finding them but don’t think the ones I found are correct. Thanks
Sounds good
What rings or mounts were you using for the diamonds in the bags?
Spl bagger rings.
Were you rubbing all four speakers bridged on that 800.4?
Not bridged

You’re running this off of one amp? That’s awesome! Want to do a 4 speaker setup with 2 tweeters! Is that possible with something like this?
It can be done. You will need to have crossovers for tweeters.
