Carlos I hv a question from Cali I have Diamond audio version with the tweet in the grill, running euphoria experts in the lids, and MMats 6x9 midbass in the back of my bags pointing inward with SD 1200.4 pushing the four 6x9 and a SD 800.4 pushing the Diamond 6.5 w/ grill tweeter and the HKI dsp and I just blew out one of the MMats 6x9 midbass right side, so my question is wd you recommend that I go with an 8” midbass and move away from the 6x9 and note that I used sound skin sound deadening in bags, lids and front pods. Thank you in advance we all in the riding appreciate you sharing your knowledge look forward to your response Thanks again
Hi Carlos I have a question from California I'm running three Diamond Audio 6x9 in my bags two facing in the bag one in the lids .... my question is the one in the lid should it be firing in Phase or out of phase....???
@@phillipbrooks6919 you will need to invert them one at a time to Figure it out . Depending on the crossover slope they could be in or out by a certain degree
I have Hertz 6x9 (one in each bag). My concern is the magnet on the speaker which draws up any metal in the bag (keys, tools). I am thinking about baffle to control this. What's you thought? What are my options?
If you baffle the 6 x 9, you will lose 50% of your bass if you are OK with that then go for it. me personally, I would rather put the tools in a plastic bag then lose the base for my 6 x 9
Whats your thoughts on speaker baffles on 5.25 speakers in the batwing fairing? Would it give better sound at higher volumes...would it give a bit better bass response? Thanks
Question you said u don't prefer speakers in the lids, well I have a Victory Magnum and I wanted to do all hertz 6.5 neos in the fairing and 6x9 neos in the lids with 800.4 Evo x and a dsp. How would that sound
It’s will Sound great No speakers in the lids is my personal preference But I also like woofers in the bags 6.5 and 6x9 in a victory sound great We do them All The time For the faring I Recommend the db drive moto6 cd Cheaper than the hertz and much louder For The lids I Recommend the hertz 690 neo
@NVSAUDIO also I forgot to mention I wanted to keep my factory radio with this setup, I seen a Victory Magnum yall did that kept the factory system it was perfectly find the way it sounded to me.
Hi Carlos I’m trying to set up an appointment with your company for a audio install. I submitted a message on your website, but have not received a reply and cannot get through to your office by phone. Is there another way to speak to you in regards to scheduling.
Hey Carlos I think your videos are Awesome!! Especially when you are explaining the how’s, why’s, and information sharing. I have used the information that I have learned from watching your videos that have helped me tremendously with my ‘15 Street Glide. I have the King Tour Pak with speaker pods which use 6.5” and not 5 1/4” speakers. So my question is since the speaker pods are vented into the tour pak would you recommend using a coaxial 6.5” in the pods or midbass drivers? Because I am planning to completely redo my audio since I didn’t do enuff homework when I first purchased aftermarket audio and got completely ripped off from AHB…. I say that because I purchased their fairing upgrade at the time which after it was all said and done cost me right at $1800.00… which I was sold Hertz Mille Pro 6.5’s (which we all know are not weather proof or are anywhere close to being speakers for a bike) but I was told they were… along with Diamond audio amp, DSR1, and the speaker grills with tweets mounted in them( which are obviously not meant to be installed in a bike either) Now when I made this purchase instead of them sending a t harness for the DSR1, I was sent a loc with the Harley factory plugs, because I was using the factory radio I was sold the the backbone harness which I told them I already had it from the boom audio upgrade that had done previously… and some pardon me for saying this but BULLSHIT installation instructions… Anyway I have purchased the Techno Research Centurion Audio flash tool, Audio Control SA-3050a. So I think I have the tuning tools covered. I have purchased a Soundigital 1200.1, 800.4, and I haven’t decided on purchasing 4 DB Drive WDX6MOTO-CD’s or CICADA 6.5’s for fairing & pods not sure if either will work in pods?? And I have Euphoria Expert Neo Carbons 8’s for bags no lid speakers
Hey Carlos, i have the Hertz SV165 Neo in the lower fairing of my liquid cooled Ultra Limited without topcase (and also the SX165 neo in the fairing and SX690 neo in the saddlebags) . What do you think about baffels for the SVs (the pods in this setup are not really sealed)? Regards from germany Martin
I have been watching you for some years and I have a 2021 road glide Limited and I really like the ground zero yellow basket with the ferrite magnet, do you have a setup for two pair of the 6.5 yellows front and rear for my bike and a pair of 800.4
I knew someone was going to say that so I was ready for this comment 😎 If the Rockford 6x9 was designed to work with the airspace in the saddle bags then we most both agree that the performance gets greatly affected when you add the Rockford drop in 10 inch subwoofer kit that leaves zero space for the 6x9 to do its job 🤔 That’s a huge compromise Choke off the 6x9 air space and give it all to the bass 🤷🏾♂️ It’s all about compromise We have to do the best we can . Plus 95 percent of my clients are not happy with the performance of the Rockford motorcycle speaker .
Like he said it's all compromise. Rockford are "specifically" made for bags and the compromise is output that's before you do the drop-in sub which eat all you bag and choke the 6x9" to boot..........Compromise.
Ok thanks.i need to schedule a appointment with u to redo the system on my street glide

Forward to it

I like the way you explain things! Everything you said makes sense to me lol!
I put sound deadener around my 6x9. , with a single 8 in the bag, and I prefer this setup to the opposite
If it sound good
I’m all for it 👍🏽
Same thing as a hard baffle
If you have 8 in the kids and 8 in the saddlebags. Will it work if you switch the positive and negative of the woofer in the bag
tnx for the info

would you recommend using a product such as soundskins in the saddlebags or on the outer fairing?
Definitely helps a little

Most don’t know about it but can you do a video on your thoughts of using PolyFill in speaker pods? Does it increase midbass? @NVSAudio
Last question, what 10" speaker would u recommend for the soundigital 1600.1 2 ohm?
@NVSAUDIO ....how about designing a 8" speaker pod for the saddlebag?
The saddlebag IS the pod
@@scottlint7016 ....no.
@@WesRyda why would anyone do that

@WesRyda leave the 8 alone. Block off the 6x9, or better yet, get rid of the 6x9 and run a plate for a 6.5 and tweeter.
Can I use two 6.5 in the lids with 10" woofer also?
Yes but you will
Need to baffle them

Great explanation!
Wrong about no speakers designed to be in a saddle bag. Rockford TMS69 was specifically designed and engineered based on being in a bag lid.
