Great content as always Carlos 👌🏾. I dropped the coaxsub in the saddlebags of my roadglide because it plays low frequencies. It will provide me with some midbass until i decide what direction i want to go with stretched bags and subs.
I love your videos I just recently purchased an 09 ultra classic that has a hog tunes system that I'm not happy with a friend of mine gave me a set of 6.5 Hertz s PL show mids that I have put in my lower pods I was wondering if you could recommend speakers for the fairing I also would like to go with a Hertz 6x9 in my lids and use a Rockford fosgate kit for some reason I feel like I'd like to keep it all hErts it doesn't have to be. I have a stinger 700 amp wondering if that would be sufficient or I should move to a different amplifier looking to run those six speakers and make it sound as good as possible thank you for your help if I was not in Florida I would definitely bring my bike to you
I noticed there is no video clip on review on cerwin vega ph694 horn 6x9 was wondering how good they are was gonna order some for my Harley but there's no review on them they are selling on Ebay 4 $173
Back in 2000 I had diamond hex with I think aluminum tweeters? I think you could get silk, but dude sold me on aluminum. Anyways, you are totally right! I remember the tweeters being SUPER harsh!!!
Hey Carlos, great videos! I have the Rockford bag subs with a Stage 3 Rockford system. I'm looking to upgrade the fairing speakers with a 6.5. What would be the loudest option? I'm ok with running a new amp and plan to add a DSP at the same time. 2021 Road Glide
Love your vids thanks for making them! Quick question: What would you set the dsr1 at for these in a bag lid? Max rms at that setting? Thanks a ton And while we’re at it, how about the dsr1 settings for the mp654s? Have a great weekend!!!
I would start at 65 hertz 12 dB for the 6x9s With the trim level at -15 radio at 3/4 volume and bring up the trim level slowly until the bass starts to distort the 6x9 and then back it back down a bit Same with the 6.5 but I would start at 100 - 150 hertz 12 dB All depends on what amp you are using
The hxm is a high quality speaker but not loud enough in my opinion. It really can’t keep up with the other 2 . I feel that the ms69cx and the mp694 is a better option
@@NVSAUDIO Thank you sir for the input. Have a great day and on a side note Im hoping you have the time for the 8" with horn review. I have not seen one yet and I know a lot of people online are waiting for one. Thanks again and have a great day
@NVSAUDIO isn’t the diamond MP694 able to produce a lot more bass than the Hertz spl690 and able to handle more power? Is the horn able to produce a lot better sound as well to help keep up with the highs upfront? Just wanting the best sound I can get I appreciate your content and your time
So I just found another one of your video’s with your explanation of why you prefer the Hertz because the hertz is water proof and the horn will allow water to get into the bags and fry the voice coil. I appreciate the content and glad I’ve been listening and learning a lot from your channel
Hey Carlos just wondering I’m thinking of installing a 4 speaker set up on my sg would 1 amp and a dsr1 work or would I need 2 amps. Not going too big or competing of any kind lol what you advise
I’m fixing one now with 2 6x9 in each bag I’ll have the video up in a couple of days . I would run the Hertz Neo 690 Or the mp694 On a sound digital 1200.2 or a 1600.1
Yes its very clear when the bike is off. But I still couldnt hear my music at 60mph. When I looked at the cost I realized I coulda had a more powerful sound for the same price.
Aint nothing messing with them hertz neo sx690s I’m running them in my lids and man they are crazy loud and clear. Paired with db euphoria 10 inch midbass.
My guy that works on my bike told me that.. But im a firm believer that u get what u pay for.... If you dnt mind me asking how many watts u putting to them?
Great video Bro. Can't wait for the head to head match up.

Those Boss lids look great. How are they compared to RF? Sorry if already asked and answered.

@@NVSAUDIO you’re the man! Thanks
Carlos any opinion on the boss audio speaker lid kit? How does it stand up to Rockford Fosgate lid kit? Just the kit not the speakers
Check tonight’s video
I have 4 of theses going in my lids
Question do you think theres a difference between the diamond audio line and the cerwin vega line since it looks like the have the same products
I’ve read it’s the same parent company and same speakers but the Diamond is supposed to have better quality components.
I’m running two CV Strokers in each bag. They can’t be beat
Same speaker just better components used in the diamond version
Same question I was going to ask.
Carlos what are your top two 6x9’s
How does the diamond HXM69F4 fit in with these two…it's hard to make decisions when Diamond makes 3 6x9's for motorcycles
The hxm is a high quality speaker but not loud enough in my opinion. It really can’t keep up with the other 2 .

I would run the
Hertz Neo 690
Or the mp694
On a sound digital 1200.2 or a 1600.1
What do u feel is better Hertz or Diamond Audio. I recently watched video on 702 and they said DA blows Hertz out of the water
What do you think about the mmat PS69cx
What are those boss speaker grills? Is that a lid kit like the Rockford ?
Watch tonight’s video
Honestly those ms69 has nice clear base to it . I
What 10" sub's do you go with in your sealed bags?
How good u think they will sound if I put four of them on the deck of my chr
Here we go again
Just put these in my lids, and they seem to distort when the bass hits..800.4 not bridged
Not sure what i did wrong ran em to a vega b54 tweeter blew cant get em to jus play on full range but it bangs with the low pass on the amp HELP!!
Call me tomorrow 908-527-6772
Do you know of anyone who tested these 6x9s in a car’s rear deck instead of a box.
Man I feel like I wasted money on my 2 speakers Rockford setup...
Dont feel bad. I purchased that Rockford set as well. I snatched it out after 2 days.

Does anyone know if these would have good bass in a rear deck install?
I'll let u know late may or early June, gonna do 4
