What's hatnin bro. So it's about that time! What are you upgrading to? I just completed 4th Cicada upgrade. I'm waiting for speaker grills and lower pods to get painted then I'll post a couple of videos

@@robleeva Living life brother! Yeah it’s about that time. More and more guys are wanting better audio on their bikes. Only thing I’m changing out is my midbass subs right now. They don’t hit the lows. I ordered the new Digital Design SL608 shallow mount subs to go in my bags. From the t/s parameters it should sound awesome. I’m gonna get the CH69.4 for the lids and I’m adding lower speaker pods. For the pods I have the PRV 6MR600x Neo’s. I have 4 in my old school and people can hear me from blocks aways.I upgraded to the XS power Titan 8 battery as well. So when I add my 3rd amp for the Cicada and Prv’s I won’t have any power issues.

@MrILLryder niiiice. I just checked the Specs on the Digital Design SL608. Look really good. Let me know how much power they can really take. Sounds like a conservative spec considering it has a 2.5 VC I'll be installing a pair of XPERT cf 8s. On a 1600. I'm like you. Trying to get the most out of an eight. I dont.want.to seal my bags and run 10s. All my brothers are telling me to just move to the 10s. I think we can get it done. Looking forward to hearing your results.

@@robleeva yep I was thinking the same thing I don’t won’t to seal my bags and take away my bag space with 10’s. I ride so I need all the space I can have. What I liked about the DD SL608 is the Xmax 12mm is on par with some of the high dollar shallow subs brands like hertz, JL, sundown & RF. Ground zero shallow 8 has 24 Xmaxx means it will hit a lot of low notes. Higher the Xmaxx the better the sub will hit low notes. I’m not sure what the Xpert 8’s are but it’s a midbass it will probably be around 5-8 Xmaxx. Once I get the 2nd one installed I’ll make a video with it playing.

whats hatnin T. the only reason is because they are smallest available. they have proven to be reliable. Im running a 1600.1 and a 800.4 in the faring. Ill be adding a 400.2 very soon.

Ya man No issues yet with the cicada speakers. They have been we plenty of times. If you are considering going with cicada, wait for the new CHX6.5. They have same power handling as CH65 but are 100% waterproof and dont require pod modification. Suppose to be available end of year. 600 watts going to kicker speakers. I have two layers of stinger road kill (metal backing). They don't need a lot of airspace. I have one cicada 8 MB driver in the bag rt now. It is Lowder but doesn't get low. I will move to 2 Ground Zero shallow sub in January. There is another secret ingredient in the bag that I will reveal when I get the ground Zero installed. You can see it when I open the bag. I'm my opinion 8 inch lowers are not needed because you can get same volume with 6.5 cicada or euphoria expert. You dont need front stage to play lower than 120 to 140hz I think the dirty bird lowers can play a little lower But they are expensive in MHO

Thanks for all the awesome information. Yeah Carlos did a wiring rescue for me on another bike. I live all the way in Texas and I can’t send my bike to him this time. I just bought a new bike! Great information and I’ll wait for the new CH waterproof speakers. I did reach out to Carlos and he said that cicada was the best!!! I was using the roadie splash guard. it works great. I recently replaced radio with the soundstream 14si. no worries now. been riding a lot and enjoying new stereo upgrade. Thanks to all who have subscribed. several videos coming very soon. I'm now running Cicada 8 inch MB in the saddle bags on a sound digital 1600..1 Installed New Hertz S8 DSP. Im looking forward to getting 4 videos posted soon.

I considered sending it to jet hot to get it painted a different color. The heat is too uncomfortable on long trips. I replaced it with a trask pipe. Not as cool looking as the Graffeo. But it is cool. If you know of anyone that wants a graffeo pipe. $100. It can easily be sand blasted.

Yes very true. The cx65 speakers don't require any tuning I high passed them on 60hz and gave them 100 watts RMS. A perfect drop in speaker in my opinion.

Definitely not below 50. I set dsp to 35 just to experiment with how low it will go with no distortion. Gotta test the limits

My DSP has seperate crossover settings for tweeters, midrange and subs.

The heat is very bad. I replaced with Trask assault 2 into 1. I am totally happy now. I sent the pipes to JETHOT for ceramic coating. They did an awesome job on these pipes. Almost finished with video. I'll post asap

Yes. They removed existing vinyl and custom wrapped it. They can add or remove foam to fit passenger.

We don't do recovers on any seat that is not a Corbin seat. But we can custom make you a way better seat and later on, if you choose, you can recover that Corbin saddle.

And any modifications needed to your Corbin seat can be done as well.

There is no difference in cornering. But I do notice it requires more effort at slow speeds. If I can put a number on it I'd say its 2% more effort. Not enough to be a problem. I feel like it tracks straight better with no hands or on handed riding. Of course it is a smoother ride on bumps. I'm totally happy and won't go back to stock and highly recommend arlen ness fender/fork sliders Let me know if this helps.

I'm very happy with Legrnd Axeo. I installed the standard which lower the front end 1 inch. Front end is less comfortable stiffer on pot holes but more control. Zero nose dive. I feel safer and confident.

Whats hatnin Tom. The diamond audio midbass drivers are pretty but IMHO they missed the mark. They dont sound as good as the PRV or Hertz. I think my kicker 8's sound better. My kickers are showing signs of wear. $500 better spent on the Cicada pro 8 midmass. That will be my next move.

No ports or bracing. Only lined with stinger road kill. Check out other video that shows inside of bag

No modification needed for standard lowers. You will need to add spacer ring. Can't be used on liquid cooled liwers

Carlos Ramirez just used the WILD Boar adapters for liquid cooled lowers and Cicada Ch6.5 I'm considering giving it a try

I'm waiting for Cicada to come out with an 8 inch NEO MB driver. FINGERS CROSSED. I'm just experimenting with this sub. To find out how low it can go I'm getting really good results. When I get my Mac online I'll upload video I'm on my third exhaust system and installed DynoJet Target Tune. I have alot of editing/uploading to do.

It actually sounds really good. Check out latest video. I agree that I can get more volume with MB driver. I'll be installing CICADA 8. I'll post video very soon
