It's pretty good, though I honestly haven't used it much since making this video. I'm sure it'll come in handy in videos here and there. Thanks for stopping by.

    “Gamma” also known as green/magenta.

For the price, is it reasonably bright? I have a couple of heavier duty lights (and just plain heavier) but am considering these for a light, portable addition to my toolkit. I've typically had good success with Neewer, but with only 61 LED beads, I'm wondering if they are worthwhile.

If you're looking for all out brightness, I wouldn't really recommend these. They're nice and all, but the throw of the light is minimal, and you have to really crank up the brightness for it to be even somewhat bright. On the plus side though, I've had zero issues with it.

@@RADERTECH Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and tried these out. Definitely best as accent lights unless you have a handful that you set up together to boost the brightness. A bit disappointing, but they have a place. Not my main need (for sure), but in addition to accent lighting, they would be good for light painting for those into that style of photography.

@@RADERTECH What's the point of the light if it isn't really bright enough? I don't have any lights so I don't really know what I'm looking for in a first light.

Hey man cool video! Ijust bought these lights as well, as I thought I could link them to my PC. Sadly I found out I can't, not even when using the newer USB. Do you know of any way to link it to the PC? Or do I have to simply return it?

Thanks for stopping by, and my apologies for the slow reply. I've been away for back to back eye surgeries.
No, I don't think there's any way to link them to a PC. I remember reading the manual when I first go it, and don't recall ever seeing anything like that mentioned.

can you turn the Bluetooth off? it seems like a waste of battery if you aren't going to be using it with a phone. Also there are fewer scenes available vs the old model if you aren't using the app. This seems like it's only an upgrade if you're going to be controlling it with your phone, but if not the old rgb61 looks like the better light.

I don't think you can turn it off, but it doesn't seem to draw much power. I noticed the older one had a couple other modes too. The only thing though, going through all of those modes with just the little buttons on the back takes a real long time to navigate and dial in the settings. That's what I like the app for, but I will confess, that I rarely use it. I typically have it on one setting and just turn it on or off. Thanks for stopping by.
