I'm normally more into flatground, boxes, flatbars you know, the easy less dangerous stuff; but after seeing ben ripping concrete I'm pumped to go skate the bowl tomorrow :) :) :)
this dude and guys like alex sorgentte are the reason i decided to pick up the board again, great to see vert/pool and gnarly riding back on the rise!

Sisyphus Asopus Well to be honest it commercialized all of the SPORTS you mentioned but the problem is that Skateboarding is more than just a sport, its a artform, a lifestyle and a movement of rebellion against rules and regulations which to be frank is the corporate model of Nike as a company, the two simply don't mix is the eyes of most skateboarders.

Totally agree with you about how amazing it is, but to be accurate, it is technically not a full pipe, as he rides the section where the pipe starts being a funnel. So it's more like oververt carving in a craddle with a hole in the middle, if you know what I mean. Still gnarly as fuck though.

The fact that he makes more money from a bigger company... so be it. if you call it selling out... so what. to make a living off of doing something you love is very rare these days. Bens doing what he loves and making a living from it. not much to hate on in my opinion. In this tough economy where i barely get buy working an 8-5 and hate every minute of it.
