Right off the i-10 and sunshine Blvd in eloy AZ is a hot dog stand called ALVARADO DOGS, and they make really awesome sonoran dogs, too. Their my favorite.
Right on field trip to Arizona in this episode. Different approaches and diversity in Hotdog preparations. Thank you for introducing the Sonoran hotdog and giving me ideas for my next cook. I'd like to see a variety of episodes of a handful of iconic dogs throughout the U.S. such as the Chicago, Coney, and the Memphis. Thanks again for another great video. Yours in the Bun - Gene
The Memphis episode was great and definitely a good time. It's just awesome to see regional approaches to the "Dog," and inspiration from individuals, that make a living slinging. Thanks, for the show. Brothers in the Bun- Gene
Man-o-man, those dogs looked great, including the birria dog. Please, I'll trade one wife for one of those please! Hahaha, who knew that Tucson had such a dog scene? I grew up in Wichita, KS, and our local chain called "Dog-n-Shake had those same buns that were cut on the sides and sliced on top like the first dogs in this show, and IMO that is the best way, it seems to toast the sides better that way. Thanks for another great, high-quality video that deserves much more recognition; seeing the "algorithm" doing its thing is strange.
Man. Thank you so much. We’re hopeful that we’ll catch an algorithm wave the channel takes off. Until then, we are grateful for everyone that has subscribed and enjoyed the vids. We are having so much fun making them.
I used to think the same thing. I was purely a mustard guy for so long. What’s great about hot dogs is that they are a blank canvas and you can enjoy them anyway you like. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
I can see that. I imagine back in its heyday that it was a hopping hot dog hangout. We still enjoyed getting to taste a piece of history. Thanks for the comment!
They all looked good to me! Thank you for taking us along. Stay safe and stay cool
Wow Tucson has some really interesting hot dogs! I’ll have the check out these places next time I’m in town. Thanks for the great show!!

What a tough job you had, ha ha ha
Man, where can I get a birria dog?
Mayonnaise on a hot dog is just nasty.

Pat's isn't what it used to be. It is still good, but it lost that iconic appeal.
