I seldom use sunscreen tbh. But since I found out that sun cause aging, I started applying sunscreen. Also the right way to apply is confusing. There are lot of blogs saying 1tsp for the face and nech which is a lot of product. Now, Im satisfied because 2 derma said 1/4tsp is enough for the face and another for the neck. Does vitamin C serums, moisturizer or suncreen with vitamin C is more effective to have better protection? I see a lot of studies about it however I want to confirm it to you Doc. Thank youuu!
This was so great! Thank you picky and our picky experts. There is so so so much different information out there about sunscreen. I have a real discussion on picky about certain ingredients in sunscreen and their potential dangers. Specifically, homosalate and avobenzone. Known hormone disruptors. The question is. There is an issue with the amount. Apparently only a small amount is ok. But if your applying a proper amount over your entire body ,then reapplying. It starts to become clear that is more than a little amount. These ingredients are in some places not allowed to be used. In other places there ok for use by the guidelines. Should we avoid these ingredients??? Also. The skin absorbs what we put on it. It is a fact that our biggest organ absorbs what we put on it ,into the bloodstream and through the body like our tummys only from the outside. We have some that say thats not true. But it is a well known fact ??? So much confusion and differenc of opinion and sources of information. Hopefully you can help us 🙌🤞💞
Hi doc! Ive always wanted to ask if sunscreen is needed to be removed with a makeup remover? Is it necessary? Or can you just simply wash your face normally after a day like you didnt put anything on your face? Thank you!

It depends on how well your cleanser does. If it's not good at removing, we recommend adding an oil-based cleanser before it :)
