Honestly it's something very miniscule, but I'd love the ability to dodge roll like in RDR1, AND the ability to dive like in RDR2. I think just having the ability to do both would add some cool and epic moments. I would also really like to see a prone feature added.
I think it’ll be interesting too when RDR three comes out, all of us are going to be looking back and remembering how we played this on PS4 or Xbox one… Which when the time comes could possibly be 3 gens ago. I find myself already doing that when I replay RDR2, thinking about the nights I’d work till 12 AM, and be up until 5 AM playing RDR2, then going for a morning walk with my dog I had at the time.
My 3 biggest needs for a new Red Dead: 1.) Shouldn't be "Redemption 3". We've had two of those, the first game was subtitled Revolver, it's time for a new word. Red Dead Rebellion, Revenge, Revolution, etc. 2.) Set earlier in The West, say 1870s-80s. We've seen the end of it twice now, it'd be great to see it at its height. 3.) A Native or Black protagonist, completely separate from the Van Der Linde gang. Couple that with the setting, and it has the potential to be a powerful story.
I think the word Redemption is fine. I always pictured RD3 staring Jack Marston, and throughout the game we see him going back and forth between law abiding citizen and vigilante outlaw, and at the end he puts down the guns for good, and finally becomes the "redemption" that his father, and Arthur before him, fought to protect. Then he settles down on Beecher's Hope or whatever.
@@wyomingptt Can't have a game around Jack, that would be World War era and not a Western story. I also disagree with a third "Redemption" subtitle for the reasons previously stated.
Great vid Phil! Ive always loved that theres no 'end boss ' so to speak after missions etc. It was always so refreshing as most games have an end boss. Rdr is just out there on its own,ive said it a million times theres been nothing as good ive ever played. I just wish they had nurtured it alot more. I hope i live to be able to play RDR3 if it ever is released,we have to have hope🙏🙏 much love as always xx
Many of your suggestions are obvious from a gaming perspective but what made RDR2 so special, and more than a cut above any other game, was the story, the narrative, & the interpersonal relationships. Adding back in things like Boss Fights would seriously detract from the excellence & reality of this great game. And NO we don't need any childish Walking Dead crap! :D
@@MikefromTexas1 then who? Maybe RDR3 based on the life of Black Belle they could even have Sadie in it too as a bounty hunter who originally comes to arrest Belle but ends up helping her
Honestly i wouldn't mind red dead 3 as a bounty hunter as the protagonist. We play as 2 outlaws and jack who isn't an outlaw but sought out revenge what if you play as a bounty hunter looking for jack to avenge your grandfather edgar ross and thats how the protagonist meets his fate. Than the epilogue is jack becoming a writer making what his parents wished for true. I know it will never happen but the idea to me is cool.
@@d.r.tweedstweeddale9038 I don't know why people like you think it's completely impossible or uninteresting to continue the same continuity in fact I think a new one would just suck.
The natural way for a rdr3 game would fokus on jack marston in the 1920's up to the 1940's in which the game evolves into a GTA game where you bootleg liquor during the prohibitation, steal cars and get involved in other forms of criminal activities with organised crime and turn one mobster family against another mobster family. The red dead series are very much similar to the gta series, so why not make one slowly turn to the other?
Stop asking for the game to be taken out of its genre (WESTERN) that's what makes it a Red Dead game, it's the main thing about it. IT'S A WESTERN GAME
I don't want to be multiple protagonists. I just want to be, Landon ricketts

@@FilbeeGaming I've always wondered the same thing. It's odd that it never has. Hopefully it's in GTA 6! Keep up the good work Filbee!

What should the story be about tho? Maybe the early days of the Van Der Linde gang before blackwater id love to see young Arthur
Nah, we've had the Van Der Linde story for two games now. Time for a different protagonist.
