I don’t think he's a stoner, honestly (though he does smoke). Given how careful Chris is about not calling him stupid, unlike any other guest (there's that part in lego city he almost says idiot but changes it to ass), and Adam's difficulty processing text I think it's more likely he has some kind of brain thing.

Adam’s a great addition to the cast. I love him as much and Dingaling and Jewels.
People love to compare Adam and Cory, which definitely makes sense, but I think there’s a fundamental difference between the two; Cory’s brain is calibrated just wrongly enough that he thinks logically, but it’s logic from a different dimension. Adam thinks like his brain is at the bottom of a lake.
