I have done a few of them myself. Using the floor is a good idea for the design to be tested as you build stuff before it leaves the unit. Top stuff squire!
Looks great! In my shop we use a huge metal table to layout our rails. Works great. Really hope they fixed those stairs though. They were looking rough!
Thanks for watching and your comments. That would be the ideal way of doing it with the bench. Especially for it to be true and good for line. But the bench would take up too much room in our size of shop unfortunately, especially if it was a permanent fixture. The steps were re asphalted after the install
I know you are probably busy and making videos slows the job down but please continue to make videos I really enjoy them. I've probably watched all your videos atleast 5 times I'll go back and like them all to help your channel. Keep up the good work
Thank you 👍 The existing handrail tube top rail had a ‘v’ cut in to the underside with a grinder to enable the bend (presumably on site) and had been filled with mastic !
@@TheMetalFabGuy Like you say, on site bodge. The few times I’ve used or thought of using tube clamp system on angles it’s tricky to know for sure if the brackets are going to accommodate what you want.
Good job 👏 👍 tidy.. did you hear them galvanised too? I'd like to get more into doing railings like that..did you concrete them in as well as bolting them?
Thanks for watching. Undercoated and powder coated was the spec. Two bars were chem fixed into the ground. Coach screws /plugs for the top and bottom rail fixing back to the wall. 👍
i have a question.. OK so i have a workshop drawing and i need to cut a PFC at 153(Degrees), how do i find out the angle to set on the bandsaw, or transfer that angle to the Bandsaw to cut the PFC at that degrees...?
Этот чел у меня в цехе и дня бы не проработал! Чертёж мелом на полу, все части подгоняются индивидуально, сварка раком на коленях... И чё? Один райл в день? У меня таких 10 райлов за смену сделает один сварщик. Позор! Для справки: я бывший railshop foremen at Porter Steel, Inc., GA USA. 30 лет стажа in metal fabrication.
This guy wouldn't work a day in my shop! Chalk drawing on the floor, all the parts are individually adjusted, welding on his knees... So what? One rail a day? I have 10 such rails per shift made by one welder. Shame! For reference: I am a former railshop foreman at Porter Steel, Inc., GA USA. 30 years of experience in metal fabrication.
@@TheMetalFabGuy You know, mr. internet SS, I dont want to offend you. But if you want the pix of my work, lets do it in private mater. Let me know how I can contact you.
You’re missing the point. Go through the time and effort of uploading your work, and what you do, so EVERYONE can see. Maybe you can help someone with your trade. Rather than being critical and telling everyone how great you are. It kind of tells everyone what person you are. Without you even realising it. Look forward to the videos …

Thanks Jon.
The flatter the floor the better.
@@TheMetalFabGuy Absolutely. The unit l rent now has a flat floor so compared the ribbed concrete floor l previously had l have luxury!
Another nice job and a great video. You are a true craftsman. Thank you.

floor layout is a must for oddball stuff. I do weird gates all the time, and its incredible how effective floor layout really is
Well said.
Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks Karl. Appreciate the support, and glad you enjoy them. Thank you.
Nice build video and thank you so much for not adding some horrible soundtrack.
Thanks for watching Craig 👍
I think it’s safe to say that’s just a slight improvement on the existing one🤣 Looks great.
Thank you 👍

The key clamp fittings that suit the angles do exist and usually accommodate most angles.
That's great idea and layout Sir...And work quality congratulation👍
Good luck
With your Channel Rom.

Beautiful work
Good stuff 😍

How much would something like this cost out of interest?
Depends where you’re from.
How much would you pay for it?

Wouldn’t want to with that attitude.
Put some videos up superstar.
