Well that the Volvo XC40 on subscription and that’s my thoughts across all three videos what do you think of the car is it for you?
I pick mine up in July, Inscription Pro Hybrid PHEV. Can’t wait!

@@RateMyTech I’m getting it on Motobility so I can’t give you a monthly figure. But...it might be the Inscription Pro, but it’s not fully loaded. You don’t get 360 camera...that’s an extra £1000 because you have to have the safety package of lane assist and BLIS...you don’t get a sunroof...that is a mind boggling extra...you don’t even get a proper charge cable, that cost £50. All you get is the 3 pin version. Having said all that, you do get a lot of things that are extra or non existent on other cars. EG, electric tailgate, a must for disabled people, heated seats and steering wheel, electric memory seats. To be honest, standard features are numerous. We went to look at a Tucson, really nice car but not as comfortable as the Volv...no electric tailgate. Can you get it as an option? No! What you see is what you get.
I’ve just been told the Recharge Inscription is £649 a month...over 3 years. We also tried a Peugeot 3008, which was really very nice and surprising. But...the plastic piano keys felt gimmicky and after you have pressed them you have to touch the screen to get them to work. Not as comfy as the XC40 and if I was 30 years younger I’d probably have the Pug because of its flashy image. Now, nah, staid, reliable, comfortable and solid is what I’m after. Besides, I think the XC40 looks great.

Reduce guard: 'Why would anyone want to do that?' - Leaving a dog in the car so it doesn't set the alarm off or leave the car on a ferry or train where the vibrations sets the alarm off.

Brilliant video... but after this, I need an Advil. Geeze, I think I would rather have a vintage, all-analog car. Plug my phone into the cigarette lighter for navigation and call it a day.

Great video Stephen. I was wondering are there any other USB ports in the car that will work with the CPLAY2air adapter. Or is it just the one by the wireless phone pad. Maybe there’s one in the glove box so the adapter can be stored out of view. Or maybe a socket by the back seats so the adapter is out of the way of the driver. Thanks

Got ours coming end of July we’ve gone for the R Design Pro looking forward to it we’ve added the sunroof for the kids but all in all really excited for it. Do you highly recommend?
Yeah it’s a lovely drive so so smooth also has some kick down when you need it snd you feel safe in it as well

I have the 2021 version and I bought a wireless dongle as you need a cable which is crazy in 2021

@@RateMyTech Xc40 T5 the most expensive one but not electric. I had a 2011 C70 Volvo convertible before that, love that car but mine had a lot of miles and needed a lot of work. I wish they still made those. I am very happy with this XC40 though!!

It’s a new car MY23 Mild Hybrid.
Mine was a 70 plate and I needed the dongle but I hear the new ones comes with Android auto unsure about wireless Apple CarPlay

No, it’s an extra package that costs over £1k
It's not only Volvo that doesn't show Apple Car Play / Android Auto navigation on Digital Displays. VW Group cars and Daimler cars can't do that to this day as well.
