CUT CRICUT RHINESTONE TEMPLATES PART TWO
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 авг 2024
- Here is a video, which is part 2 of 4 videos on how to cut Rhinestone templates with your Cricut and the inexpensive software Sure Cuts Alot, which is Design Space compatible. This video shows you what to do once you've imported your rhinestone SVG from SCAL into Cricut Design Space. In the words of my late great music business friend, "It don't cost nothin' to be nice, so be nice!"
I'm so glad that I came across your videos. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much i have a Cricut Air 2. I didn't know it do that for the Rhinestone. I was going to go buy a Silhoutte Cameo Machine. Thank You💖 I dont have to buy a Silhouette Machine now💪 YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!
What blade did you use?
Thanks for explaining this clearly.
Love your videos!!! Thank you!
Carol Mestro thank you!!!
Your video is a little more clearer than most. I’m glad you are showing us on a cricut however i’m not sure if it’s different for a Maker. Most of y’all have the explorer and all the videos seem to be geared to that and not the Maker.
Hi Marilyn, I love these videos. I have a question: I'm going to be new to doing rhinestone designs. I don't have either the SCAL program or the Rhinestone World program and I'm curious why you switched from the SCAL program to the Rhinestone World software. Thanks so much!!
I have a Explore Air 2 can I set it on Bonded Fabric setting to cut? Thank you for the video! Have a magical day!😊
Life And Disney I'm using the first Cricut Air. I dont have a 2, so Im not sure if the setting would be different. I believe the only difference from the original Air and the Air 2 is speed. Fabric setting works great for the Air and this flock. Try it out, whatever works, roll with that! Lol. Thank you for the "magical day!"
in looking at the dimensions now - they seem to be more than the 8.5 you had set previously?
What settings should I use with the Cricut Maker besides fabric. There are so many options. Can't wait to try this!!
Did you get an answer?
@@CaliFigureEight no
@@sharryrusso5429 that's unfortunate, I'm watching her video and I've also posted in different Facebook groups and will be trying different settings out.
where did you get your sure cuts alot 4 from
Thank you thank you thank you, very informative and $40+ isn’t bad at all
TriceDa Mua thank YOU! $40 Isn't bad at all! I've upgraded my rhinestone program with the Rhinestone Worlds however, im still using scal for tracing and cleaning files up. Lol. I use this SCAL, Corel &the Rhinestone World Wizard and of course Design Space for different things.
MillieD I surely saw that and checked the price, I think it’s a great price when the business is upgraded. Lol
TriceDa Mua thats right!!! Lol
hi🖐🏼 love your video can u still use sure cut alot with cricut explore?
Katrina Hardeman thank you!!! Yes you can!! Just make sure to EXPORT the file as an SVG and make sure the "compatible with Cricut" box is checked! I have upgraded my software for rhinestones but I still use this to trace and clean files. Hope that helps! 😀
Thank you for sharing. It’s my first time doing anything actually on my maker lol and it’s asking me foe the type of material. What should pick. I am using the magic flock but I don’t see it on the list. Help. Oooops I believe you set it on fabric. Would that be the fusible fabric
Hey there! Check your materials and see if you have a "flocked iron on setting". If you do, increase that pressure to 220. Make sure to scroll to the bottom once you changed it and click SAVE. exit out and check your material settings to verify you changed the pressure!
@@MarilynDIAZDESIGNS OMG. Thank you so very much for responding to my question. I am such a newbie with this stuff. Can you tell me what pressure do I need it to be, because gurlllll lol, I just did the Rhinestone TRW Template and it was a disaster. When I tell you, that I had to literally push every hole out till 3:00 in the morning and still unable to use it. Some holes didn't even cut and I'm sure it had to do with the pressure. Thank you/muchisimas gracias :))))).
Norma I believe you were there til 3:00 am! Lol. Unfortunately. If your using a maker, use pressure 220, if you’re using a Cricut explore air, use pressure of 225. Make sure to use a fine point blade. Hope it all works out! DO A TEST CUT first before wasting that material, girl! It’s pricey! 🤓
Why when I transfer a design from SCAL to Design Space the size is more bigger that the selected in SCAL
Hello, is it sure cuts a lot 2? I see a couple different versions thanks!
Sure Cuts Alot 4.0 is the one I used here.
I just read something that made me even more confused. Were you using a windows PC or Mac Pro OS in this video?
Windows PC
What would you recommend SCAL4 or SCAL5 i have the cricut maker
Mz Daisy hi!!! I've never used SCAL 5, so unfortunatey I can't compare the two in order to answer your question. Im sorry. This is SCAL 4 in my video, however I've upgraded my rhinestone software with The Rhinestone World's program. If you can compare SCAL 4 and 5, that would be a great start.
Do you have link for the material for the template?
Can u make a rhinestone template 4 a tumbler
I need help!!! Every time I use sure cuts alot and select what size rhinestones which are ss10 rhinstones. My circuit explore 2 doesn't cut it to ss10 my stones dont fall right into place what am I doing wrong
The easiest thing to do with that program is #1 dont adjust the size of your image after you've chosen the stones, #2 make sure to write down your dimensions of your piece after you've chosen your size stones, because even when you save it as an svg and you save it to compatible with Cricut, somehow even with the program im currently using, cricut skews it somehow, someway! Make sure you write down your dimensions (w x h) so when you do import to cricut, you can put it back to correct sizing. I have moved on from SCAL. I haven't used it in years but I started with it.
What version on Sure Cut A lot are you using?
Robin Daniels SCAL 4. I have updated and upgraded my rhinestone software with The Rhinestone World’s program. It’s much pricier, but I still use my SCAL for tracing images. It’s a great start SCAL!
Where can you get the magic flock
Nikkie Wheeler Therhinestoneworld.com
What blade did you use?
Dana Diva I used the German carbide blade. It’s just the regular blade. 🤓
Is your machine the cricut explore air 2?
ruth edwards yes, im currently using Cricut Air (the first one). I have the maker however I havent used it because I absolutely love the air.
MillieD thank you. Ive never made any I buy the already made rhinestone transfers. But I think it would be cool to create my own. I want the pink one!!
What material did u use when u cut them out please
theresa bennett the material is called ‘magic flock’ from The Rhinestone World.
Thank u
Why didn’t you use Inkscape for doing your templates
This was way before I knew about Inkscape! Lol. Now I have Corel Draw and a rhinestone program. 🤓
What cut setting do you use to cut the flock material. Pressure, Times etc? I have a Cricut Explore. Thank You
Tina Lawler I just use the ‘fabric’ setting. I don’t figure pressure, that setting does it for me, so if you have a Cricut, the fabric setting works and cuts all my templates. The time is just as long as the machine takes to cut.
I have a Puerto Rican day parade to attend next month and I can’t find any cute tops can you just customize one for me that I have in mind and of course I’ll pay
What do you have in mind? You can email me too at customdiazdesigns@gmail.com
Did you mirror the image ?
No. No need to mirror rhinestone templates! Sorry about that if I didn't mention it!
Would I be able to cut the design in sections on different pieces so I would be able to do different colored rhinestones on the same design? And would I do that in SCAL or the Cricut Desgn Space?
does it work on maker
Yes! I have been cutting my templates on my maker on the flocked iron on setting with an increased pressure of 220-225
