ive had a problem with the rhinestone fill- i ungrouped my image, it will outline with rhinestone but when i hit fill with rhinestones and preview, the image disappears....any ideas?
I´m having a strange problem. Even if i see that i selected the squared rhinestones and i can see it in the preview, when exporting instead of squares i´m getting circles like the other rhinestone type. Does anybody know why is that? thanks a lot

You can purchase it here www.craftedge.com/products/products_scal.php ... there is a Basic version and a Pro version. The site has a comparison so you can decide on what features you need.
You can use any 3rd party software program that can create rhinestone designs and that can create SVG files from those designs, but SCAL is the least expensive and is super reliable.
If you are just using a Cricut Explore (not a larger, professional machine), the basic version is probably fine for you. I have discount codes in my SCAL group at facebook.com/groups/SCALusers/
Hello ScrappyDiva I am using SCAL4 with my explore air 2. Want to make rhinestone template. I choose the SS10 with largest diameter and upload to cricut but seems like the wholes it cuts on my cricut are just shy of being big enough to brush the stones in. I don’t know if it’s the image or the software but having trouble getting the rhinestones to fall in the sticky flock. Any suggestions or thoughts?

You can export in SVG format, which they can import into whatever program they are using.

I have SCAL 2 and dont see the effects option. Can I use SCAL 2 to do this... Thanks
I'm sorry, but if you don't see that option, I don't think you can. You can upgrade to SCAL 4 though.

Can I use SCAL 2 with my Cricut Explore One?
I believe you have to upgrade to version 4 to be able to create SVG files that are compatible with Design Space.
