Very in depth for someone who doesn’t usually work with rhinestones. Thank you this makes it easier for me to choose the rhinestone software I want to use.
I want to say ditto of what Micaela said a year ago. I am so grateful that you did this video and I would like to be able to use your videos to learn everything about making rhinestone templates for my cricut from my SCAL4 program.

Moving to SCAL, from MTC. I love MTC. But, it is becoming more apparent to me, everyday that SCAL SMOKES MTC! The nesting, to conserve paper, is a long - awaited feature. So 'union' is 'weld'! Thanks for the great video. BTW, is there an easy way to pan to a different area of the work area? In MTC, you could hold shift and sling the mat and go where you wanted to be.

I do have one more question. if you wish to outline a print and cut with rhinestones to be cut in Design space - how to you make a rhinestone outline that would surround the print and cut without cutting off the outside of the printed and cut design. in other words. I don't want to fill in the rhinestones - I just want to highlight the colored design that I will have cut out? make sense? for example - cut out a tree - but then surround it with stones? make the template (from the flock) and ensure that it will surround the various aspects of the tree (limbs, leaves, etc). thank you in advance for answering.

Hi Hairizkia. When you have the Rhinestone panel opened and Click on the preview it will show you the stone count. You can see this at about the 4:00 minute mark in the video. Hope this helps! :)
Yes it is and can, most of our customers own a Cricut. Keep in mind that Cricut does not allow 3rd party software to cut directly to their machines. You do need to export your design and use Design Space for cutting.

How do you put the design back together after you break it apart to manually add circles?
So why when you export it to cds it changes the size of everything. The stone sizes
My SCAL5 rhinestone tab is grayed out. I can't select it. How do I troubleshoot this problem? My goal is to turn text into a rhinestone design.
Make sure whatever you're stoning is selected on the canvas

Hi, Kim! To get everything to be one layer again and considered a compound path, you can select all and then do Path>Union hope this helps!

Can u choose rhinestone feature in demo version scal 5?
Yes, all features will work in Demo mode. Your design will cut a line through it for a watermark. Once activated that watermark will be removed.
