I'm glad these beautiful Star Trek Online designs are being adopted into Star Trek Canon. As long as the original designers get their due credit, there is no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to be canon. Hopefully we'll be able to get model kits (from Round2, AMT, and Polar Lights).
I'm glad you included a side by side shot of the Pathfinder and Voyager. Pathfinder seemed at first much smaller than it is which made me question it as a replacement for the Intrepid class.
Overall design inspiration from the Intrepid class with influences from Nova class and the rear of the secondary hull look like a class 2 shuttle. Great vid 👍
Giving players and fans creative freedom to come up with ideas and ship designs is fantastic. They can contribute to the game and feel proud their design is in the game.
I'll admit, the stories and "fill in the gap" stories are amazing in STO. The Tasha Yar story line was way better than it should have been. Also the ship designs and the kit bashing you can do with them is a game in itself.
I love the Pathfinder class and made sure I could get it when it released on PC and was the first science vessel to vome fitted with the secondary deflector as well. i remember the beta release as well, being apart of that small group and of coure when the game was pay to play via subscriptions - monthly or lifetime. I loved also the built model of the original Voyager design and even took attempts at drawing it with a few alterations here and there alongside some damage Protmetheus class ships as well, though this was when I college and before the game was even in the works, I remember seeing the design somewhere else, cannot recall where exactly now, it has been that long. Anyway, the Pathfinder is a must for me, and playing science characters mainly in STO this ship can pack a wallop and holds its own. I was wondering how the ships in Picard and events would change some history in STO - though I guess the game itsels is set in an alternate timeline I guess - which can easily explain later launch dates of various ships besides from classified projects and test beds. It seems though that lehendary status in Starfleet means that any lettered ships don't seem to last long in service, already getting a Voyager-B so soon, so will be interesting how long the Voyager-A will be in service before its ending - one way or another. A lovely video nonetheless and thankyou for the work from all involved, and was great you were able to contact the designer for more info for the video as well. Peace and long life
6:25 ok, so it’s design included the aeroshuttle in the underside of the primary hull…did this one actually use it though? Yes yes, it’s a tired joke…but it’s kinda obligatory even for those who like me enjoyed voyager as much as any other series :)
This ship looks like it has it's nacelles to be moveable, but it seems that they would move upwards. Interesting. And no ...... I currently don't play STO. :P
The folks behind STO are going to have to rewrite their own game to stay in the prime timeline, likely creating a legacy version with the old story built into it so as to preserve their hard work
Well yes, if there was a "B" there MUST have been an "A" right? #SimpleLogic.... As to what it was and what happened to it, we'll have to wait for Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2 to find out!
Lovely ship design but the nacells and pylons do not do it for me... too wibbly wobbly looking with a random rectangle stuck on it. I do prefer the nacells to the pylons. I feel the design would be better complimented by shorter, stubbier ones though
Brilliant idea for the current Trek staff and writers to use Star Trek Online ships designed by the fan community. It invites a sense of inclusion to the fans. I think Kurtzman and crew are starting to get it.... 😏
Not a big fan of them jumping to the "B", should have been the "A". I dont know where or why this idea that Trek HAS to keep jumping to the next letter. These ships are supposed to have a 50-100 year service life and it seems like every 5 years it's out with the old and in with the new, just for the sole reason of making a new ship and slapping a new letter on.

I would love to have an official kit of the Enterprise-F, the Titan-A, the Stargazer (Picard version), The Voyager-B and other ships too.
Completely agree with you on Star Trek Online contribution to Star Trek today. It's a great marriage of the two agencies.
It’s a super cool class, and the STO team really nailed it, that secondary deflector will always look super goofy to me

I'm glad the tv shows are using Star trek online ships. Makes most of the fans Happy

2 pathfinder videos from 2 of my two favorite trek channels: certificiably Ingame and this site.
Love it

Great video! I'd love to see you do more of these type. Like the Titan and Aventine.
That's the plan and Thank you :)
WOW Great Video like the Pathfinder Class was frist ship I buy in the Game. Impressive new desings of the Voyager
Very cool and Thank you Dom! She is a gorgeous design!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Yes is a gorgeous desing
Yet another great and interesting video thank you!
I love STO and the ships they make. I just wish the interiors were as varied and expansive as the ship options.
I was also a beta tester for STO! And still play!
Sad we did not get to choose the engine colours like it was stated back then
Brilliant video 📹 👏
Thank you so much 😀
What happened to the VOYAGER-A?
I wonder what Prodigy's team has decided Voy-A is going to be...my guess is the Vesta class
I think they might design their own new design, more in line with an Intrepid Class!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios I bet something similar to the Bellerophon class in design and look
Great video:)
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks George :)
I feel like that using designs from STO is helping make the teams from the game development be more included with the main canon
Good show good sir!
Thank you kindly!
The Pathfinder Class is a real beauty.
Love the design.
1:57 indeed, they were quite different. Our ships had a Redshirt meter.
LOL
I love seeing STO ships become canon
It will be interesting to see how they rework the history to work in the updated canon
Because that Aeroshuttle came in so handy for Voyager. They should have saved the room and put in a bowling alley instead.
Beautiful design but the real question is did it keep the Variable geometry pylons ? That was my favorite part of voyager!
I wonder what happened to voyager-A

You're very welcome :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Do you ever stream? I think watching you play STO would be fun. I imagine you'd be a bit sassy when live lol.
6:48 so what happened to “voyager-a”?
Do the warp nacelles move the same way as they did on Voyager?
To be frank, I would have loved seeing this class against the Shriek! 😉

I always liked the littler ships.
The new ship looks so much better it looks tough it looks sleek I definitely like it not that my opinion matters but I like it
Hello, Sir, i'm from a game studio who would love to have you to promote our game, could you please let us know how to reach you? Thanks!
Was there a Voyager A?

What happened voyager A
We will find out in Prodigy Season 2.
Exactly, or at least get more background info on it :)

They had too, since Prodigy has the sole rights to the Voyager-A and its reveal next season!
