      Theres one issue with the f500, theres two versions! a regular (red and black) {80} and then an ELITE version, {120}, the elite gives sanwa buttons and a sanwa JLF joystick which r Wayyy Better than the regular arcade stick components. i would eigher A. Buy The Mayflash F500 (red and black) and then also buy a Sanwa JLF lever because its much better than the stock and thats 100 dollars total, or B. get the Mayflash F500 Elite for 120 with everything already installed, the mayflash f500 comes with an audio jack, bigger in general (which is great) a plexi glass so u can customize your faceplate. if u can id go with Route B. its a journey man and i will make a review for the mayflash f500 Elite in about a week if ud want to wait for that, Good Luck!

      @@basedpan5281 oh no way! i hope you Love it! if ur gonna upgrade that stick, i definatlly recommended getting a SANWA JLF joystick, feels amazing for 20 bucks, and as far as buttons, right now u have generic ones, Sanwa is the standard button company but theres no Huge difference if u compare the two, semitsu is another company but in my opinion they feel and look very cheap. right now my absolute favorite button is called a Crown 202, heres a link if u ever try to look to buy arcade stick parts super great service! focusattack.com/

    I can’t for the life of me figure out how to make mine work. I plugged in my Xbox one controller directly to the stick via usb to usb -c on the top of the controller. Nothing seems to work when I try to play dragon ball fighter z or KOF.

      Hello!
      Step 1. Connect PS4 Controller To MayFlash F300 ------- THEN CONNECT MAYFLASH INTO THE PS4
      Step 2. Make Sure MayFlash F300 Has the TOP LEFT TAB put into the MIDDLE Next To The Controller Icon! (2:10)
      Step 3. Turn On PS4 Controller And Log Into A Profile
      Step 4. Press The HOME BUTTON on the MAYFLASH F300 (2:32)
      This Should Work. Many People Say The Controller Is Defective But I Believe Its That People Dont Know How To Connect The MayFlash F300 To The Ps4 Controller
      HOPE THIS HELPS!

    Mayflash F300 elite better than f300?

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад

      This Is So Hard To Keep Simple So Ima Write U A Long Ass Paragraph or 2! (Third Try) The Mayflash F300 (normal) costs the same as a normal controller (ps4,xbox) at 60 dollars or cheaper on amazon, Its A Solid Fightstick And Will Allow U To Learn How To Use A Fightstick Without Breaking it Even If Your Rough With it) The Mayflash F300 Elite is 90 dollars on amazon. The Only Difference Is The Actual Buttons you use to play and The Type of Lever That You Use To Move Your Character. The Mayflash F300 (normal) Use Generic/Cheap Parts. The Buttons Feel Good! And The Stick/Lever Feel OK. HOWEVER The MayFlash F300 ELITE Uses Sanwa Buttons And A Sanwa Lever. The Sanwa Buttons Feel BETTER than the generic ones, BUT The Sanwa Stick/Lever Absolutely Feels AMAZING Compared to the Generic one found on the mayflash f300. Dude Literally Please Trust Me The Mayflash F300 Elite Is Definatly Worth it Over The Mayflash 300 (Normal). Heres Something You Should Know, A SANWA STICK/LEVER costs about 20 dollars. And A Sanwa Button Costs About 2.50 dollars (times 6 for all the buttons). If U Get A Mayflash F300 You WIll DEFINATLY Be Upgrading at some point because u will be curious on how the next "upgrade" feels, so 60 (mf300) + sanwa lever (20) + Sanwa buttons (12) = 92 usd, if u can i wouldnt even get the Mayflash f300, i would definatly get the mayflash f300 Elite.

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад

      AND HERES SOME MORE INFO! I WOULDNT EVEN GET THE MAYFLASH F300 ELITE!!! just the fact that u r looking at youtube for fightstick videos tells me u want a quality product because u want to actually try to learn how to use a stick or want to understand all the hype about it ( Listen,Using A Fightstick Over A Pad Is So Cooler! Its An Experience! i Definatly Recommend it Because It Actually Feels Way More Responsive And Gives u More Feedback Than Any Fancy Controller Will) so that being said lets say your gonna get a Mayflash F300 Elite! Cool Thats 90 Usd! Look Up Videos For The Mayflash F500 Elite, This Is The Fightstick I Currently Use! It Has Sanwa Buttons And Lever! It Has A Storage Just For The Cable So Its Not Swinging Around Everywhere (The Mayflash f300 does not have this) It Has An AUDIO JACK That Actually Works! (works for all consoles) Is Bigger For Your Wrists To Sit On Perfectly While Your Play (Mayflash f300 is a little smaller) Has A PLEXI GLASS so you can Cuztomize Your Fightstick With Some Cool Background (MF300 has nothing) and its just basically the best Quality You Can Get And Not Feel Like U Have To Upgrade Anything Ever. This Costs As Much As 2 Console Controllers tho 120 usd, and Its Definatly Worth it

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад

      Literally The Most Important Part of A Fightstick Are The Buttons And Lever Quality, I Wouldnt Recommend Getting The Mayflash F300 (normal) Or Mayflash F500 (normal) If Your Gonna Get A Mayflash Get an ELITE version!

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад

      heres some extra info, Sanwa Buttons R The Standard (2.50 usd) My Favorite Buttons R The Crown/Samducksa 202 (5.00usd) Each, u can order springs that u install into a sanwa lever to increase the resistance so u dont accidently make imputs u didnt want (very easy to install - i currently use a 4lb spring), Practice using your fightstick it will feel like ur learning an instrument, u can buy silent Sanwa buttons or foam pads to put inside a sanwa button and they do make a difference but it feels terrible when u press the buttons it almost feels Like A Bad Kind of Mushy And may actually hurt to press buttons like i experienced, i have not experience any korean levers/sticks so i cant give any info on that, but currently i love the sanwa lever, there are these things called restrictor gates that go under your lever and limits how far u can move your lever, there is a circle version, an octagon version, and a square version, all sanwa come installed with a square gate, but give u an extra octagon gate incase u want to change it out, in my experience, Square Gate Is The Way To Go I Absolutely Love It, Octagon feels very Restricting almost as if theres no space to move and no deadzone, it sounds great but it felt terrible in practice, the circle gate felt...weird. like imputting dirrections felt hard because u didnt feel a tactile feedback like hitting the edge, of a square gate, Square Gate For Life lol, and Thats it man! hope all of this helps! and Good Luck on Your Journey!

    Bro ... does it work with tekken 7 for steam?

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад +1

      Yes! If Ur Going to play tekken and im assuming u want to give a fightstick a fairshot, buy The Mayflash F300 but then head over to -focusattack.com/spare-parts-tools/by-part/springs/ - i would buy the 2lb spring and 4lb spring for sanwa JLF, its a spring that goes inside the Joystick and increases the amount of weight u have to put into the joystick to get an imput. joysticks tend to be "loose" so if ur a pad player i seriously recommend buying these springs.

    • @MartyParty12x
      @MartyParty12x  3 года назад

      Its very weird for about a day because both of your hands r doing different motions that u normally would do on a pad. Once your brain understands how it works you feel this connection between and your character more than with a pad. Think of it like playing guitar hero with the pad vs the actual guitar controller, it's something u should try out especially if u play fighting games

      Definatly A Mistake! honestly looking back in cant decide if its a 7 or an 8, i honestly feel all arcade stick buttons r a 7 or an 8 unless its a "silent" button and those reduce it down to a 2 or 3 but for me personally it definatly hurts my fingers after awhile! thanks for watchig!
