I’ve always appreciated that even though Khorne is Rage , Anger and Slaughter incarnate, he is not a petty bully. Him and his followers don’t like picking on those weaker than them. He has a strong, albeit twisted sense of honor. So most regular folk in the galaxy are relatively safe from his wrath.

Him being born during the Terran Middle-ages has already been retconned. The three old Chaos gods, according to current lore, were born during the War in Heaven and not during humanity's timeline. The Eldar birthed Slaanesh and look what happened to them. I find it hard that Humanity's still surviving if the old lore was to be believed, which states that they're related to birthing the three chaos gods.
Truly a misunderstood and noble god as there is nothing more virtuos than pulverizing the decadence of Slaanesh or the Scheming of Tzeentch.
Glad to see you doing 40k stuff again. I used to listen to your 40k narrations and loved them was sad you had to stop them. Love the lore videos keep up the good work.
I think shouting and screaming bloody warcry will frienten the enemy as some kind of strategy. It has psychological effect at some point, as well as fighting enemies that are all soaked with blood. I dont know if any of these is said in the lore or anything, but that's how it works in history. Great vid!
Indeed it show how the person sheds his humanity and embraces the beast inside while everyone does the opposite and this scares them
@@dpsknight4512 yep blood and savagery scare people by making it feel like the enemy is more monster then man its why vlad tepes bloody methods of torture intimidation and execution from eating his breed with enemy blood or implaying his foes alive creating a corpse forest infront of his castle has remade him into the great monster dracula in the eyes of history and culture
I know this was the first chaos god you covered, but the more you narrate about these character from their own perspective or the perspective of people who would likely deal with them the better. Keep up the great work!

Correction Khorne was the first of the chaos gods. Nurgle came after him.

Actually Tzeentch came after Khorne, Nurgle came after Tzeentch
@@rustkarl actually the laws of time mean nothing in the warp. They have both never existed and always existed at the same time. So their age and "order of birth" are irrelevant and simply nonexistent.

Unfortunately the laws of time means something outside of the warp.
By that reckoning they may have existed as far back as sentient life, but only became sentient themselves well past the War in Heaven.

I was under the impression that Khorne was the oldest of the gods.
Nurgle is Technically Nature incarnate. He existed ever since life first appeared.

Not really, the warp was around since the beginning.
The first to “awaken” “gain sentience” and rise was Khorne.
@@rustkarl Actually by your logic it is Tzeentch that first "awakened" for in space and chaos in its nature. The only constant is change. Even when the warp was more peaceful.

How come you skipped over khornes relationship with nurgle at the end?
It was a relative overview. Didn't get into such steamy details :P
We can assume Khorne hates him the least.
I think Khorne and Nurgles creation has been retconned from being during Medieval times, to sometime during the War in Heaven.
I'm too new to the lore to really have a favorite version. I'd go with the one that has the most lore backing it up. Either way really enjoying the vids. There are a few channels that are similar but i feel your narrative is less dry and a little more accessible in it's tone. Keep up the good work :)
i belive the explination is they already existed but had no lets say personality or direct will till mankind enterd the middle age acting as the wombs for the choas gods physcial forms which then created the demon hoards
