I love seeing other artist's sketchbook tours. Up until recently, I would have a form of stage fright when I began a new page in my sketchbook. I couldn't get over my fear of wasting a page until I realized that my favorite pages in my sketchbook are the ones where I have a ton of different sketches going on. I think my favorite sketch in your sketchbook is the one at 22:49. There's just something about the line work and the splashes of color that is just so inspiring. Awesome video!

I used to just do one thing on each page of a sketchbook unless I was really bored and ever since I started filling the pages completely and doing both sides I looooove my sketchbooks so much more. Looking through full sketchbooks like yours is so fun and I loved seeing all these again! I gotta get my butt on my creature design so it's ready in time! Loved seeing that blob challenge page, that's my favorite "I don't know what to draw but I wanna draw" thing to do! 💜💜💜

wow I never really got into merMay and the couple of pieces i've seen for it were... tbh... just the typical little mermaid-looking designs, but yours have really awesome designs and I love how easily you can tell which aquatic animal they were based off of. Your animal illustrations are also amazing and many of your pieces are quite dynamic, I love it. I'm subbing :D

These are absolutely gorgeous. I follow Rin so I think thats how you ended up in my recommended from the shark dude drawing you two did. I love the idea of the creature design based off of different creatures. And wooooow! The mercreatures are all beautiful!
I bought your Mermay book on the day you released it. I love all the drawings, but something about the humpback whale really awed me. 💖 I hope you make another book of your sketches. ^^
I wish i never listen to my parents about choosing a collage degree... When i was still in high school i wanted to be a fine arts student, but my parents discouraged me and told me to pursue business course... So i comply with the thinking of "if i'm the boss, i have the time for my self" and as time passes by i realize i don't have the ability to do business, im socially awkward, a loner, and have no self confidence until i fell into depression. I haven't finished my studies because of depression, my parents doesn't believe depression and instead scold me for being sorry for my self that i should be greatfull... But over time i overcome my depression on my own, and studying art on my own by drawing whenever i had time. But because i have back problems, i cannot sit for too long, (that sucks) but i can't help it... I lift a heavy object in the wrong way and had an operation for it.
I love the Tapir on the study page! And the Octopus Mermaid is just gorgeous. ❤️ I've got 10 (!) empty and partially used sketchbooks, so my doodles are in no order whatsoever, which is very odd for me as I'm so organised in other areas of my life! 🤣 I tend to be more inspired by attractive sketchbooks too. 😊 I really like the way your illo sketchbook handles wet media.
