I really hope Noah can make it to the LA Games and redeem himself. He'd be 31 and probably in the twilight of his Olympic career. Would be nice if he could get, not only the 100, but the 200 he probably would've gotten if he hadn't had COVID.
I think it's possible, he has to just stay healthy and keep running consistent times. Early thirties and sprinting at a high level isn't impossible. But having injuries or major setbacks will definitely be the catalyst of most people's careers. We've seen Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce and Michael Johnson ran some incredible times in their late twenties to early thirties and Simbine placed 4th in the 100m this year at the Olympics so anything is possible especially in this era of track and field.
I love your channel. Can you perhaps do some form of comparison or analysis for Deion Sanders in his prime? I sill regard his speed on the football field as being unmatched, and I think he did a few track races prior at FSU. Thanks.
Millions and millions watching around the world? You assume people outside of the US care much about football? Maybe we should go back to an older comment from Noah: "You know the thing that hurts me the most is that I have to watch the NBA Finals and they have "world champion" on their head," Lyles said. "World champion of what? The United States? Don't get me wrong. I love the U.S., at times, but that ain't the world. That is not the world."
Christian Coleman and Noah Lyles win in general at 100m and 200m. Coleman more at 60m and 40 yards. Lyles at 100m (barely) and 200m (when at his BEST) beats all others. Way back in the 60s and 70s, Bob Hayes (100m GOLD in Tokyo 1964) was the top Track Star turned Football Player. Faster than Bo Jackson (4.13 40 yards and 10.4 100m) , or Darrell Green 4.09 40 yards and 10.08 100m! In 1960 Harry Jerome ran 9.9 100m by all 3 timers! But then they rounded it up to 10 seconds flat as they thought that nobody would believe it! Even Bob Hayes had a 100m where 2 of 3 timers had him at 9.9 seconds...hence the change to Electronic timing as hand timing had too much error associated with it. Harry Jerome tore his QUADRICEPS right off in 1962 at thye PERTH, Australia Commonwealth Games! Some Doctors did not think he would ever run again! He was young and the new surgery worked well. With it stitched back together, he got to walking, then running and back to track and had a BRONZE in the 1964 Olympics and 7th in 1968 in Mexico. Now imagine he doesn't have that INJURY! Maybe he beats Bullet Bob in 1964! I was 4 in 1964! Amazing he made the 1968 100m Final too!
@@fanaticsoccersuperTebogo has beaten Noah only once at a major final and twice if you include rounds. Noah has beaten Tebogo in every occasion in the 100m and 200m when he was healthy without Covid. It's too early to wrap that point up.
Not many in Europe and the rest of the world care much about American football to be honest. Unlike soccer as you call it in USA. But even if it was a famous soccer player I would not care at all to watch that.
The cherry on the icing would be Letsile running in that 100m race and beating Noah in the final...better yet, Noah losing the 100m to a Jamaican and the 200m to Letsile!
7:55 Yeah, 4.01 40yd is not f-ing happening anytime soon, even if it's Noah. I think he could get 4.10 or even a bit lower, but there's no way he's getting .01 away from the 4-second barrier.
This match up doesn't compare to Michael Johnson v Donovan Bailey Everyone knew those guys but this American football player - Europe doesn't know him and it's of no interest...I think Bailey v Johnson was over 150mts and given Johnson was a 400m runner, most people knew the outcome. The race itself was a farce due to Johnson feigning injury as soon as he knew he wouldn't win. Bailey was some sprinter, last to first in Olympic 100m final Amazing
I'm an American, and Donovan Bailey was my favorite track athlete in that time period. Something about Michael Johnson made him unlikeable to me. I remember watching Donovan blow by him like he was standing still and you could almost see the reality set in that he was going to lose badly and sure enough he immediately grabs his hamstring like he was injured lol. The only injury he had was a severely bruised ego
If Noah does race Tyreek Hill then, even though Noah should win easily, he should insist that Hill is randomly drug tested over the 6 months prior to the race.
I love the art of story telling. The one piece of the puzzle that they always seem to leave out is that these football players more or less start out in tracks and then go over to football. Just another money making venture.
the fact that the 40m times are all taken from when they start not when they react to a gun u can shave another 0.1s off of Noahs times even conservatively which would put his realist 40m between 4.0s and 4.15s imo but regardless of that any way u cut it Tyreek is getting dropped and left
Tyreek is an arrogant megalomaniac. The Dolphins are no longer my favorite NFL team (of 50 years!) due to the team's official response to his traffic stop earlier this season. What a jerk.
Is there really that much interest in this race? Does Tyreek even have a profile outside of America? Not where I live he doesn't. Might be fun in USA though.
It being said in the video that millions around the world will be interested in thore. I don't think the world are interested in this. This is more an American thing.
It’s funny how you and others believe that and in ; it’s what you do on the day that counts! Yet here you are giving Hill absolutely no chance at all, in fact you did absolutely nothing to demonstrate that Hill despite all the negatives you offer could do anything to improve or increase his chances! Yes he’s been running in cleats for some years but certainly going spikes changes the dynamics, then there’s training, nutrition, weight management etc but you choose to ignore all that to focus on your “pet”, Noah! Who got a gift as far as I’m concerned, in Paris! Who’s foray into the 9:7s is but a single venture, yet you speak as if he can repeat it with regularity! He barely does sub 9:85s(I didn’t check but I know it’s true), all said Noah could on the day for whatever reason be a dud! Or could lose on purpose and ask for a rematch to cash in! My take is that this race should include a couple more, perhaps one or two of the recent and/or current prospects for the NFL with Track experience and ability; you did highlight that Hill is 10 years removed from his track experience, this is to show that Noah is indeed as good as you advertise! Noah wants the 100 because that’s where the money is but he’s really a mediocre runner when compared with the elite, at least his times says so! Mind you the present crop of runners are no better or different at least Thompson and Tebogo seems to be better and perhaps Knighton too; at least they have youth(time) on their side!
I'd like to see 3 (or 4) speed burners from the track world and 3 or 4 from the NFL run a sprint race. Lets see who's the fastest overall and which "team" has the better compounded and average times. Maybe make it 60M so midway between the NFL 40yd standard and the 100m T&F standard. Lyles, Colman, and one other from the T&F world.

@@HamishGarland If you're a real track fan you know Tyreek Hill from the World Junior Champs in 2012 he made the final there. Adam Gemili won the final in 10.05
Any news about Giday of Ethiopia, where is she, whats going on???
you should look up bob hayes he won 100m gold in the olympics in '64 and had a hall of fame NFL career. btw i'm not saying tyreek has a chance i'm just saying it has been done. i personally think noah would cook hill in a race.
Car Lewis was the first sub 10 100m in 1983… Hines record was altitude aided as well as all the sprint and jump records in the 68 Olympics
Thanks.
Tyreek Hill vs Usain Bolt is like Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson
Not really. Mike Tyson was two months out of near deal hospital treatment at age 60. Tyreek would beat a 60 year old Carl Lewis easily.
Agreed, but I would like to see both in their primes to really compare.@@TheGreatness-gg1jx
@@TheGreatness-gg1jx Bruh!!!
It better happen yo. If it dont happen, it will be cause of Tyreek and he better stop talking
I love your videos
It's a cash grab.... We will call it the rematch of Paul vs Tyson... Lol
Amazing he made the 1968 100m Final too!
noah's not touching tebogo in the 200m, and i think he knows it 2:08
@@fanaticsoccersuperTebogo has beaten Noah only once at a major final and twice if you include rounds. Noah has beaten Tebogo in every occasion in the 100m and 200m when he was healthy without Covid. It's too early to wrap that point up.
Hines and Bob Hayes were track stars turned NFL players. Hayes had a very notable NFL career.
Not many in Europe and the rest of the world care much about American football to be honest. Unlike soccer as you call it in USA. But even if it was a famous soccer player I would not care at all to watch that.
great video
Hey TRP do you mind if you provide where you get your background music
Hoping for a 800m race between the 2
The cherry on the icing would be Letsile running in that 100m race and beating Noah in the final...better yet, Noah losing the 100m to a Jamaican and the 200m to Letsile!
7:55 Yeah, 4.01 40yd is not f-ing happening anytime soon, even if it's Noah. I think he could get 4.10 or even a bit lower, but there's no way he's getting .01 away from the 4-second barrier.
Can you do a video on the Valencia marathon?
In my opinion . In order to be a fair. Race. Noah and hill should race. At 10 to 20 meters.
This match up doesn't compare to Michael Johnson v Donovan Bailey
Everyone knew those guys but this American football player - Europe doesn't know him and it's of no interest...I think Bailey v Johnson was over 150mts and given Johnson was a 400m runner, most people knew the outcome.
The only injury he had was a severely bruised ego
bob hayes. all time best and hall of fame football
I would pay to watch. But you are right. Noah wins easily.
Speed is closer to tyreek than tyreek is close to noah. I think he should race speed first.
IshowSpeed is like, those stats are great, show me some more
2:18 this will eventualy be noah's downfall, and why he will never go any faster in the 200m
If Noah wants to waste his time with Tyreek, I hope there's a large amount of cash involved.
Noahs start is not very fast, so no way under 4.1 maybe 4.25 ..still he probably has enough to just clip a older hill at the end of a 40
the fact that the 40m times are all taken from when they start not when they react to a gun u can shave another 0.1s off of Noahs times even conservatively which would put his realist 40m between 4.0s and 4.15s imo but regardless of that any way u cut it Tyreek is getting dropped and left
How would mbappe do?
Bob Hayes is a more suitable comparison, but he's another track star who went to the NFL, not a football player with near world class skill.
Time to get it on!!!!!
Christian Coleman has faster 40M, 60M and 100M time than Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles
Hi
It's better to run slow and be a pleasant person.
I wonder who would be the fastest running backwards.
Unnatural and unnecessary.
Usain bolt
Noah must just stop doing these exhibitionist races. He might as well race against a horse.
You know that actually happened a long time ago
More Noah glazing by America's spirit of "competition." Focus on track and actually do your job as opposed to running your mouth on some petty race.
They should get speed
Hes not even close to them
@antonriddoch8 ik hill isn't close to lyles but guess what they might still race
Tebogo said he is coming for the 100m gold...Kishane said he i coming for redmeption...Lyles aint winning that 100 next year...dudes are fed up...😂
Kishane has been dns. He hardly ever races.
Tyreek is an arrogant megalomaniac. The Dolphins are no longer my favorite NFL team (of 50 years!) due to the team's official response to his traffic stop earlier this season. What a jerk.
Ima Fire Dude
Lyles really gave up his wife in the 200m for glory in the 100m
Is there really that much interest in this race? Does Tyreek even have a profile outside of America? Not where I live he doesn't. Might be fun in USA though.
It being said in the video that millions around the world will be interested in thore. I don't think the world are interested in this. This is more an American thing.
It will NEVER happen, cuz Tyreek knows he will lose, and lose badly
Tyreek doesn’t look 5’10

@ thank you!!
Tyreek is delusional. He isn't even in the top 10 in the U.S. Tyreek would get smoked by Terrance Laird.
I could see Tyreek beating the women. IDK if he could beat Sydney in a 400m. He's a sprinter. Keely Hodgkinson would torch him at 600m and 800m.
Y’all are underestimating Tyreek he is track athlete that plays football not a football player trying Toruń track he chose football because it offered more opurnity he is not slow by far don’t underestimate and stop pipe riding Noah
Tyreek is primary a football player and not a track athlete, he was a track sprinter but not anymore and either way in his prime he wasn’t as fast as current noah. Not even close. Statistics don’t lie bro
tyreek wins 40, he knows the start well, noah wins 60 and 100
Based on what
He doesn't win anything over 30m

Noah Lyles has a personal best of 9.79 seconds in the 100 meters, achieved at the 2024 Paris Olympics

. Tyreek Hill, known for his speed on the football field, has recorded a best time of 10.19 seconds in the 100 meters
3
.To compare distances covered in the same time (9.79 seconds):
Noah Lyles: 100 meters
Tyreek Hill: Distance=Speed×Time=(100 m9.79 s)×10.19 s≈104.1 mDistance=Speed×Time=(9.79 s100 m)×10.19 s≈104.1 m
Difference: Lyles covers 100 m, while Hill covers approximately 104.1 m, resulting in a difference of about 4.1 m in favor of Hill when both run for 9.79 seconds.

I do not give a flying fuck about that guy on here who says they must run an equal distance. He can go fuck himself in until his cow comes home. (His cow is being served tomorrow in downtown Dallas at the Salvation Army).
Lyles is gonna terrorize them in the 200m next year it really wouldn’t surprise me if he breaks bolt 200m record and this is coming from a proud Jamaican 😅!
Unless Noah learns to run the turn in 10.00 or faster which no one besides bolt has been able to do, then there’s no chance

Isn’t far away Blake ran 19.26 and he sat in the blocks ! I truly believe if bolt would have put in the extra work he would have run under 19 sec but that’s for another day! Lyles and tobogo have a chance of breaking that record!
