What I gathered was that Cube didn't know about the "seriousness" of Hyuna and Dawn's relationship. Where it went wrong and where Hyuna and Dawn eventually got kicked out of Cube is that they denied the rumours to only have the public and Cube find out at the same time, which essentially destroyed Cube's trust. But like knowing Cube, idk how much truth there is to that statement, because like they did have them kiss on camera like???
I think watching it back with the knowledge of their relationship it still isn't that obvious on their stage. You have to remember that HyunA has done a lost of "suggestive" stages whit other male idols as well. I think it was more the behind the scene and that there was a similar theme between the first and second song. But that's what I think.
