It’s actually crazy to me how much my Cefaly device helps with pain. Even aura/hemiplegic symptoms clear up! Sometimes though, it doesn’t really make a difference, but most of the time I definitely notice a change!
It took me several tries to realize that "press two times with a slight pause in between" meant press once and let it turn onto acute mode, then press again for preventative 😅
I got mine and have used it a few times already. I feel the sensations going towards my right side more than my left. I tend to get migraines more on the right, too. Have you had this experience?
My migraines are mainly due to muscle tension from subluxed vertebrae/joints, so while Gonstead chiro, massage therapy, and Graston have helped significantly, I still sometimes get those brutal breakthrough migraines that just don't respond to meds, especially in the summer (heat is a big trigger, and I work outside in full sun). I would love to try Cefaly, so I entered the giveaway.
Have you still searching for diagnosis? I skipped some of your videos so may miss some updates. Have yoy had Lumbar puncture done? Also Upright MRI with Flexion-Extension and Rotational CT.
So did your last fibrin glue patch not work? You never posted an update. I think I have a CSF leak so watching your videos gave me a lot of comfort but now I’m debating on going to a CSF specialist since it didn’t work for you? I encourage you to post an update for us who are suffering and beginning our CSF journey
If you had to say when you first started your journey years ago until today after all the meds and procedures. How much have you improved? Like 0 is back one day one and 100 is life pre migraines where are you at today?
For me, it’s tingling that gradually grows more intense. As that happens, it feels more like a pricking sensation, and it kind of echoes across your head (where your nerves branch to), even if it’s localized on your forehead.
Pins and needles plus pressure. The lowest levels ironically feel exactly like adhesive peeling off your skin to me, leading me to check and double check the electrode, haha.
I want so badly to try these different methods and actually get a diagnosis, but that's the issue...getting the diagnosis in the first place. Then come to find out the insurances available to me don't cover a diagnosis or even part of medications. So I will just have to use conventional methods.
Yes! But thankfully it's acute & prevent in one, and you can buy once and you own it. Many competing devices cost that on a rolling basis because they're rentals!!! 🤯

Try not to be discouraged.
If you think you have CSF leak, then try to get to a CSF leak center.

What does it feel like when it's on?

If you got a vp shunt that you should stay away from magnet I’m guessing it’s something I should avoid and I keep pumping Botox in me
I found it unbearably painful :(
You probably had it set too intense. With mine you have to be careful not to accidentally double tap the button
