  • The Bridge Cast by Roland is awesome. Yet I have an issue separating the input in OBS and still being able to adjust the track volume using the Bridge Cast itself.

    I dont know if it Works with the Bridge Cast, but i use it on my WaveLink with Korg NanoKontroll. If the Bridge Cast ist recognize as a MIDI Controller you can send the singal with LoopMIDI to OBS with the OBS MIDI Plugin.

    Dude... easy as hell... mute the music on the bridgecast and add the music directly to OBS, boom, done.
    To be precise...
    Go to bridgecast, mute it for the stream, go to OBS and add an an "Audio Output Capture" and choose the channel. There you go, obviously you can't control that music with the bridgecast knob, but it works.

      The issue I'm having is that if I want to mute that specific channel (example: Music) , there is no way I can mute it from the Bridgcast physical mute button. I can mute all outputs such as Stream or Personal specifically on that music channel and OBS still hears it.

      @@Wretch_I_Am You are not making sense, you can easily mute Music for either Personal, Stream or both.
      And if you put in "stream" as the only source in OBS, it will not react if you mute the Stream channel for music.
      This sounds 100% like user-error.

      @@Sommitpsyou're not getting the point. I am not using Stream or Personal as a single audio channel in obs but I'm specifically adding Music or Game as separate individual channels in OBS. Regardless if I mute every single thing whether stream, personal within their specific channels, it does NOT mute it in OBS. I can see the audio level within the software and it records the audio in the background even if I don't hear anything from my headset or lower the volume on each channel. I had a razer audio mixer before I switched to Roland Bridgecast which I can physically mute the channel from the mixer and I can see the audio turn off in OBS.

      @@Wretch_I_Amsee my comment under the video. I may have solved it for ya (I am using it like that for months now).

    I found this to be a frustrating issue as well! I separated all of my tracks (game, chat, alerts), removed them from the stream audio and have it set to record to VOD. Stream hears the MIC (SYSTEM) with all sounds I hear combined, but this does not record to the VOD. Basically I added each track in to be recorded.

    i have a question about this product, if i plug in both my camera and gaming pc into the capture card, can i output both at the same time into obs? or do i need another capture card?

      You need an another one, Bridge Cast X captures only one at a time.

    I have a Bridge Cast X and I have video playing on my second monitor through the Bridge Cast X but no video playing in Streamlabs only audio playing in Streamlabs do you have any suggestions for a way to fix this

    • @szityin
      @szityin 2 месяца назад +1

      I hope you've figured it out: audio capture devices and video capture devices have to be added separately in OBS

      @@szityin I found a new streaming software "Prism Live Studio" and one of it's features "Prism Lens" has fixed the issue

    Hey folks! It is very easy!
    I am using the Bridge Cast as my audio mixer.
    What you have to do is give up on the separate personal mix (which I personally would not use anyway).
    It is just a tiny bit messy because of the channel names.
    1. Enable mix link on the Bridge Cast (set the same levels in stream mix and personal mix).
    2. In the bridge cast app, look for your music channel and disable it for the stream mix.
    3. If you have a volume knob set for your music channel, you have to edit the mute button under it (i think the option you search for is "mute music personal" or something like that - instead of "mute all", so when you unmute it, it does not re-enable sound for stream mix.
    4. In OBS, you use "personal mix" for your live stream, and "stream mix" for your vod track. Music wont be included and handling will be very straightforward after.
    Why I said to use "stream mix" for vod, is because I assume you would also like to hear the music, and that way you can monitor "personal mix" and wont have the blue leds blinding you.

      Also I might add to this: I like to hear my own voice too, so I can clearly tell if the volume levels are right or not. But if you dont like to, you just disable "personal mix" output on the microphone channel. This way, your live stream channel will be "personal mix" + "microphone". The "personal mix", "mic", "stream mix" have to be added to OBS separately, as different audio capture devices.

      I'm currently having a nightmare with the sound stuttering through OBS , it was all fine before I bought a bridgecast xlr mic and new headphones. I'm at breaking point

    • @szityin
      @szityin Месяц назад

      Make sure that the sampling rate is set to the same number both in OBS and in the Bridge Cast panel, stuttering may be because of that (I had a stuttering problem before with an another sound card). I think the stock setting for the Bridge Cast is 44100 Hz (which is fine), try setting the same in OBS.@@ianmcleod2850

      Yeah they are all set to the same, I'm stuck with what to do, I only have the 44.1hz setting on windows so I've set everything to that

      Hmm, since a new microphone?… Maybe adding a power supply to the bridge cast (2 ampers or above @ 5 volts)? That is the only other idea I have.

    How’s the settings for the mic such as the noise gate? Heard it’s terrible and needs more work
