Great video, I just recently got a 5 star Man Thing. I was hesitant on taking him to rank 3 unawakened but since I have several mystic t4 catalyst why not.
Awesome video. I have a 4 star Man-Thing on my new account. Thanks for helping me to use him! I agree. Recent champs are used by the designers for new content. So, keep a weather-eye out for uses for the newer champs! TLDR: Kabam has designed to rush a starting player's progression if they apply a little cash and a lot of elbow grease! Because if the Feelin' Green event, I started 3 new accounts. A 4 star in your first week is a big incentive to start a new account. New accounts are way more fun for me to play as the player is rewarded with significant account growth on a regular basis. I bought the rush package, 5 PLC at level 8: 4 star Stealth Spidey, 3 star Stealth Spidey, 3 star Doc Oc, 3 star Star Lord, and 2 star Deadpool X-Force. My level 12 3 star was forgetable, and level 25 4 star was Thor Jane Foster. Along the way I got a 4 star Mojo from the Mojo crystals.

Curious, did you try Man-Thing on 6.1.5 Xbones? I have been trying, but can't get him down. Mystic Dispersion is useless because of the global node, so, was wondering if you tried?
That's an interesting idea! He has everything he needs to get through there in terms of utility, but his damage might be a bit low to counter with the vitality. Should still be able to spam his sp1 though, and poisons can help reduce the healing. I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds doable. I can do some testing and get back to you with a definitive "possible or not" answer hopefully later!
So Man-Thing did a little, but not great. He's probably be fine playing just with his raw damage and nullifying the Regen when it comes around, he has a pretty good chance to. Build his agitation instead of the poisons since Crossbones can shrug them. I did like 20% off of a single try, not great but I'm sure if I kept trying I could eventually get the one shot, it'll be a long fight though
Personally I'm not a big fan of ranking anyone for defense, but maybe that's just me. Man-Thing is a pain on defense for 2 reasons, his tankiness and his poison. He can still poison the opponent unduped but he won't get the Regen that'll help his tankiness. R5 he might still get a few kills here and there from timeouts or poison damage. I think it's probably a better question for your alliance members and where on the map you can place him for a bit more planning, honestly I'm not sure if ranking him is the right move but your alliance will know better. Hope this helps.
@@johnny-crik2464 I only use the Sp3 in very specific scenarios. Usually when I can't nullify. His armor breaks and poisons are going to do more damage 9 out of 10 times over a special 3
He's not the absolute worst, since at max sig he will be regen-ing 4.5% per special below 50% which can help offset recoil damage. The problem is Man-Thing is really good at special spam when combined with Mystic Dispersion, and the heal is pretty slow. So overall he's not awful with them, but not amazing either

Yup, those are still buffs so he can still build agitation with each medium against an opponent with a pustule

If you have recoil he's not awful, with Regen duped it can help but he does benefit alot from special spamming so unduped it's not a great idea

Offensively he's pretty fine unduped. Defensively as well. He gets a benefit at high sig but he's not worth sig stones compared to other mystics
