For me, when PowerPoint is used to it's fullest potential (epic transitions with morph and etc), it could beat most average canva presentations.
Canva has the best templates, but PowerPoint has the absolute best transitions.

PowerPoint has many functions,
In Canva There are tons of Templates
But in PowerPoint it's your creativeness that will make your presentation very outstanding
