    On Mac to save as PNG the following works. From top of screen drop down menu print from file menu. A Silhouette print box opens and select print again and another box opens up, from this box go to the drop down in the lower left corner and select open in preview and when that window opens go to the file menu on the top of the screen and select export and that will allow you to select PNG.

    Sorry I know this is old. Quick question… once you bring your design into Cricut are there any differences with how Cricut cuts such as settings vs Silhouette. I can’t decide between Maker 3 or cameo 4 😩

    Hey Becky, so i have a Silhouette cutter and have created a design in Silhouette studio, but I'm want to send the file to my daughter who has a Cricut cutter. I've watched this tutorial, but when i go to save it as an SVG, I'm not given that option... only Silhouette Studio V3,V2 or GSP. HELP!!

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  3 года назад +1

      Hello!
      It will depend what version of Silhouette you have. In order to save as SVG from Silhouette you will need Business Edition.

    Hi great information. My question is can i still cut in my cricut a larger image that i create in the Silhouette software.

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Год назад

      It will depend as Cricut will likely tell you the image is too big, so you'll need to break it into pieces or make it smaller. - Brittany

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Год назад

      Hi Melinda! If you have the SVG file saved to your computer, you can upload it to either Cricut or Silhouette. Unfortunately, if you create an SVG in Cricut, it will now download to your computer. I'm hoping Cricut changes this in the future! - Dawn

    Thank you for all the wonderful videos. Here’s my dilemma. I don’t have either machine yet. I use and love Silhouette Studio. But for some reason I just can’t shake the feeling that Cricut is a better machine, with better cutting tools. What is your opinion about that? Overall, but then specifically with regards to Print and Cut.
    Also, when using SS to create something to take to a Cricut to Print and Cut, does the bleed option work?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  3 года назад +1

      Hey Elizabeth, I would say that Cricut does have the better Print and Cut feature as far as accuracy, but you are more limited on size than what you would have with the Silhouette machine. If you are creating a Print and Cut image in Silhouette Studio, then you should still have the same options as you do importing any other clipart, you'll delete out the white space and then yes, the bleed would work well. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Hi: I recently watched your video tutorial regarding print and cut using Silhouette Studio, along with several others, and I am still struggling trying to use Studio to add offsets to images in order to create sticker sheets which I can extract to use my Cricut to print and cut. Unfortunately no matter what I try I am not seeing the offsets in Cricut's Design Space. I see them just fine in Studio but they are not there in Design Space. I am obviously messing something up somewhere, is there any tutorials or other resources you can point me to in order to get this to work? I have Studio Business which I purchased in order to do this. FYI I am very new to Studio so my knowledge is very, very limited.

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  3 года назад +4

      Hey Marie! I'm sorry for your struggles. I would recommend filling the offset with a color before saving as a SVG file. Choose something bold, you can always change it once it's in Design Space. Let me know if this helps at all! ---Becky

    Do I need an internet connection to use the cricut maker? I only have access to the internet through a hot spot. Do you think the hot spot will be enough to be able to create projects?

    • @DesignBundles

      Hey Adriana, you do need internet connectivity for the Cricut Maker. You can probably make due in a pinch with a hot spot connection, but I wouldn't rely on it. You can download the app for your mobile device though, that will help you complete your projects. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    I purchased the business edition in hopes of using it with my cricut maker, however, when I save a design to svg on my desktop it advises me that it will appear as dots and sure enough when I uploaded the design to cricut and went to cut that's exactly what it does it puts little dots on the card stock. Can someone help me with this.
