This song literally saved my life. I was at dark end. I had given up,the abuse at 16 yrs. old had taken out of me what I had left. I turned on the radio and this song began to play. I started to feel new life in me,and I wanted to fight back. I pulled myself together because of this song. Thank you J.P.
This song saved my life 2 I wanted 2 make my parents hurt so I was going 2 jump off my Jr high school gym but then that song ran though my head and said 2 myself what if I live?
Never give up ! Despite all the lies and all the evil entities that infiltrate our lives believe that there is a God who loves you more than you could ever imagine. I recently heard an interview that Rob and Glenn were in from 1977. The interviewer asked, how would you describe your music? To which Glen replied it’s Priest music about Good versus Evil.
I don't know for sure but the description says music video so they probably took the studio recording and played that with a recording of an actual concert
I've seen Priest live on a few occasions...FREAKING AMAZING! Saw him on the "goodbye" tour a few years ago and he could STILL scream like a banshee. What's better than Judas Priest live? Oh...Maybe putting Iron Maiden with them...
@@2112jonrAnd he is still bringing it in '24. He's earned his very well-deserved accolades, to say the least. He's absolutely way up there amongst the few best groups (bands) that are the best and still are, to the very day. I friggen' love it so much!❤
This song...thought it was powerful on the radio, but had no idea just how hard it could hit until I saw it live. My gosh. Potent, powerful, a sledgehammer to the gut that gave you chills. Right up there with Crazy Train.
Pure Poetry. Judas Preist: (Bridge:) In this world we're livin' in we have our share of sorrow Answer now: is don't give in ...aim for a new tomorrow!!! Long live Rock. I think this my favorites
when i bought this, it was 2 years old, i still have the same original VHS video cassette - JP Live I also owned the same on radio cassette tape. It was dedicated to us Judas Priest fans.
Boy do I miss these days. We knew how to have real fun back then. No one posting online. It was all a secret until you showed up at school the next day with a brand new concert t-shirt.
I had always wondered if it was possible to actually dance and not headbang to heavy metal up until I saw the ending of this video :D Rob is awesome on stage!
Unrated - Priest fans are giving me real hope for the upcoming generation. I posted this question on about 7 uploads, and EVERY fan loves the band and could care less about Rob's personal life. Rob had real guts, cause not only could he have ended his career when he came out, but he could have dragged the entire band down with him. They didn't know how the fans would react. I am so happy his fans and bandmates are such great people, and his sexuality is a non-issue. Cheers, Keiko in Toronto
it still amazes me that when rockbands play on stage in front of millions of people they still remember the lyrics and chords to the song. that's one thing that i am impressed with. Judas Priest is a band that amazes me, too. and Halford, man, he can reach a total of six octaves high. it amazes me.
Love this this vid! Been a fan and attended many a show in the Detroit area for sometime now. This actually captures the absolute and unrelenting drive/beat that JP fans appreciate about JP, THANK YOU FOR POSTING!
+D. Scott Whitaker Who you love has nothing to do with music. Adam Lambert, Ricky Martin, Rob Halford, Freddie Mercury, Michael Stipe and Elton John. All amazing artists that I can name on the top of my head who were gay, didn't matter a single bit.
Been a priest fan since the Rocka Rolla days. I was and am blown away by the fact that the first time I saw the Metal Gods Live was 1986 and the show blew my 16 year old mind. Then 10 years later I went to the "Operation Rock-n-Roll" concert that had Motorhead 1st-then Alice Cooper 2nd and then Priest. While it was an incredible show all the way thru, Judas Priest was actually better than the first time I saw them. Finally, I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Judas Rising, 30th anniversary tour which had Queensryche play a kick ass opening set. The Metal Gods have earned that title as, unbelievably, in my opinion they sounded better, heavier, tighter, played for over 2 hours and played songs that covered the legendary bands entire songlist. They opened with the new [at that time] Judas Rising, played classics such as breakin' the law, another thing coming, heading out to the highway. Played mind crushing versions of their Hell Bent For Leather, Living after Midnight,,Electric Eye, Screaming for Vengance. All of these tunes came and they kept at it like the beasts they are, Victim of Changes, Metal Gods, Diamonds and Rust came and went and still it didn't stop as Green Manalishi, The Ripper, and unbelievably, Rocka Rolla and one of my all time favorite songs "Beyond the realm of death" were played. They then brought the crowd to a level Ive never experienced at any live show by ripping the crowds heads off with songs like, Painkiller, Nightcrawler, Hell Patrol,Ram it Down and just about every other tune you could imagine. I wish every band was able to play live in front of me 3 times from age 16 first time until 38 the 3rd time and was better every time out, That's what makes The Beast, Metal Gods, Masters of Metal, The Legendary Judas Priest a band that will still be relevant to the Metal world 50 years from now. I'd be 93 then, and if the Priest wants to play a show, I'll be there, cane in one hand, beer in the other, singing out loud " When the day gos to sleep and the full moon looks, and the night is so black that the darkness cooks" Thank you Judas Priest for putting the soundtrack to my life. Kevin from Boston.
The song that saved my life. !5 yrs old, was probably 18 mental. Been through so much, then like a light this song played on the radio. I literally felt my soul be changed, Thank you with all my heart.
Ahhhh the magic in these people had me on my toes in several concerts. It seemed like tons of energy would pass through my body and out, through the world and back; hahahahha. Would value a 1080p of this performance. Thank you uploader :)
The first time I saw their concert I remember thinking damn he’s old when Glenn came out. After this song I thought damn he can rock. Those guys could perform better than bands 15 years younger. Amazing stage presentation. My favorite concert out of the 50 something concerts I saw as a young man.
When Glenn Tipton sings "out there is a fortune wait to be had, you think I'll let it go your mad"......I totally believe him. Man was a guitar baller gave 100% of himself every show...
judas priest, dio, iron maiden, accept, metallica ,kizz, that music from the 90s is really somthing we will remember..like robs voice isnt something you hear anymore.its not who you are but what you do that matters to all of us.
You can't sit still when watching this video. You're either tapping your foot, banging your head (at the least nodding your head), or jumping around dancing!
Most of the time, studio versions are better, but they took a good song from a GREAT album and turned it into a MASTERPIECE. I actually have trouble listening to the studio version without preferring this version.
That’s how it’s done kids…no tricks, no damn auto tune, just raw talent!!!
Exactly homie :D

These guys sound like they're in the studio on stage. I mean that as a compliment. Rob is probably my favorite heavy metal vocalist.
I don't know for sure but the description says music video so they probably took the studio recording and played that with a recording of an actual concert

Damn this live is perfect in every sense of the word; the crowd's energy, his vocals and the guitarists.
This song is truly the epitome of metal.. whenever I hear it I feel more badass and don't give a shit how loud I'm playing it!!
I love the energy they have when they're live, you just don't see that as much anymore.
1:20 is the most epic head banging ever achieved live by any heavy metal band ever judas priest truly knows how to make a crowd GO INSANE!
The synchronized headbang is my favorite part of seeing them live

So very true, my friend. There would be absolutely No Judas Priest without the one and only legend himself, Mr. Rob Halford ❤

Just know that it is never too late to listen to the awesomeness of the priest...especially Rob...but anywho...welcome to the club
I dont give a damn what Rob Halford does in his bedroom. He is a Rock and Roll cultural icon, basically a legend, and happens to be a gay man.
+D. Scott Whitaker Who you love has nothing to do with music.
Adam Lambert, Ricky Martin, Rob Halford, Freddie Mercury, Michael Stipe and Elton John.
All amazing artists that I can name on the top of my head who were gay, didn't matter a single bit.
Richard Aka Silver
my point exactly...
D. Scott Whitaker shoes that matter?
a fuckin rock god like the band members
