For seventy years and counting, Mozart has been my most favorite composer and will remain so for the rest of my life, I swear it so help me God! Thank you most graciously for helping so greatly to keep his music alive and well because in these uncertain times especially regarding dealing with the Coronavirus, we really need Mozart more than ever to maintain pleasantness in this world! Don't EVER let the psychopathic tyrants in this world take it away from us including taking away all other classical music from us and hogging it all to themselves at our collective expense! OMG, it would be a monumental disaster if we allowed them to do so!

Mozart needs at least annual celebrations by knowledgeable conductors and performers who love his work.

Arthur de Silva: What a super Mozart Gala; Soprano Sylvia Schartz so beautiful in person and in voice was a perfect example of "Bel Canto" singing. Thomas Quasthoff; Bass-Baritone showed what an operatic voice should sound like, What a solid range his voice has. Fully enjoyed this performance, Bravi Tutti.

I love watching him conducting you just don't see how much work he puts into getting the piece together all those instruments the have different scales to read is developed by the one man in front he had to put all the ducks in a row and tell them when to swim to get the most beautiful view of the intended notes

I used to see Operas there (and in the back street at the Komische Oper) in the eighties when I studied in the GRD. For me the centre of the world to a large extent.
