      @@LadyIneia Not to mention the tiny, hyper-apologetic kitten known as Shibayama (who looks suspiciously similar to Date Tech's libero, Sakunami; both of whom assigned to form tag teams with the really tall newbies on their teams.)

    One thing I noticed when we first met Bokuto was how he was also quite similar to Hinata -- being very high-energy and upbeat and so essential to his team to a point that he's practically its walking mascot -- adding on that he's a really strong player and a huge showboat/attention hog to boot. And you can tell that when Bokuto and the other captains realize that Karasuno's infamous quick attack isn't just rumors, he starts showing interest. However, instead Tsukishima starts playing alongside Bokuto and Kuroo, which only makes the already well established character clash between Tsukishima and Hinata that much more apparent, especially when Kuroo inadvertently points it out.
    When Hinata eventually plays alongside Bokuto and Akaashi against Kuroo, Lev, and Tsukishima, the similarities and differences between Hinata and Bokuto's personalities play off of each other. Both Kuroo and Akaashi are shown to be aware of this, between Akaashi dealing with them both being excited about playing together, and Kuroo acknowledging Hinata's gift for flattery. Combining that with Bokuto being further impressed by Hinata's abilities leads to him teaching Hinata the feint, and the latter ultimately becoming the former's "disciple."

      True , I was honestly surprised at how well these two clicked especially after seeing Ushiwaka you would think the other top 5 aces were these large than like figures. But with Bokuto it reminds the audience that these aces are still high school students

    Kenma has been even better in the recent-ish manga arc. :D
    Those Nekoma matches at Nationals were wild.
    Who would have guessed that Kenma could be so threatening? :DD

    Haikyuu was a surprisingly amazing show. The characters drove it for me. I cannot say that at some point I've liked almost all the characters. Date tech with small episodes stands as my favorite team with fun and unique dynamics. I love character parallels so much, because while you can see how their alike also shows the differences. It helps to have a reference point to how each go about things

    Seems like a lot of hard work was put into this video! Character development and character arcs are always interesting to analyze. I got a lot from the character relations from this video, and i don't even watch Haikyuu! The only problem i have with the video is that the audio is little weird (particularly in 5:21), but i'm sure that can be easily fixed. Definitely looking foward to part 2.

    • @LadyIneia
      @LadyIneia  8 лет назад +1

      A lot of hard work was put in!! :D
      I'm glad you got something from it even when you don't watch Haikyuu!!, I was trying to keep it as accessible as possible.
      The audio was being troublesome for me (this is the reupload because the first time the audio was way too low), and that one bit at 5:23 I just couldn't fix, but for my next video I'm working to improve the audio quality.
      Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!

    I came to an deeper understanding of analysis after watching this video, i am literally opening up word to type out a script for a video talking about what it.
    I'll link back to this video in the finished video and i will probably uses it to back up my thesis. I'm just bringing this up because you might find it interesting and as a way to say thanks for the idea.

    I really enjoyed this video! I agreed with pretty much every point you made in this! (Kenma is my favorite character!! He's so smol and precious!!) Little tip though, I personally think you could slow down a bit when you talk. I understand if you think the video will be too long, but it sounds too rushed and I can't really keep up with what you're saying ha... But! Like I said, it was really good and I definitely will check out more of your videos!

    • @LadyIneia

      Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed. If you look at my later videos, you'll see my audio quality got a little better and I learned to slow down a little lol... listening to this now I do wince a little bit at my speed. If you ever watch this one again or a different video of mine, watching at x0.75 speed does make it a little easier to follow listening-wise, even though my voice sounds sleepy slowed down! But thank you again for watching!!

    I realized how the names are difficult to pronounce for english people. Here in germany, it’s a lot easier, maybe because of our pronounciation in general. (Especially „w“ (like in Oikawa) or letters like a,e,o etc (how do you call them again?))
    Just my opinion. I really liked this video!
    (Still learning english, might have made mistakes!)

    • @LadyIneia
      @LadyIneia  6 лет назад +3

      (Your English is great!) I do find the Japanese names super hard to pronounce, mostly because the emphasis on sounds is quite different. Letters like a,e,o, vowels, are often said differently. I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!

    I love a video talking about how kenma and hinata helping him develop. And how awesome they are. I highly doubt it would happen but hypothetically if kenma and hinata spend enough time together, would hinata convert kenma into another hinata?
    Like the hinata apocalypse and then there’s a country of hyper hinatas? So much so the have to block off Japan because every single person will get a hinata personality starting with one gamer boy?

    I dont personally like nekoma as much as a team. Think seijohs far superior. Kenma kurroo and lev are the only ones I feel i like. All others are lacking depth in the sense that they just mirror the other characters. They dont have depth that kuroo kenma and lev have. They just seem to simple. Whilst eith seijoh they are far better because of Oikawa. Who is a very intresting character in his nasty personality. Even shiratoriziwa was better as we had great build up to who they were throughout with even oikawa being beaten. Id rather a remath against seijoh or shiratoriziwa than any match at all against nekoma.

    • @LadyIneia
      @LadyIneia  7 лет назад +7

      Ah, well I love Seijou loads too. I think it's true that Nekoma only has a few characters with real depth, but I think the same is true of pretty much all the rival teams in Haikyuu. Like Seijou I'd say you have distinct personalities with Oikawa, Iwaizumi, Kindaichi, Kyoutani, and Yahaba & Kunimi to a lesser extent. But the rest of the team? Don't know that much about what they're really like. For Nekoma, Kenma, Kuroo, and Lev have pretty distinct personalities, but I think Yaku also has a pretty unique character. (Yaku is definitely expanded on in the manga in the Fukurodani v. Nekoma match that happens directly after the end of season 3, if you haven't read that). I also like Nekoma better than Shiratorizawa because I think we got to know Nekoma a lot better. I really felt like I didn't know Shiratorizawa all that well after season 3. I knew Ushijima and Tendou well, but most of the others I didn't feel like I had a deep understanding, you know? I'd rather a rematch against Seijou above the other two teams (maybe because Oikawa is one of my favorite characters ever), but I'd prefer a Karasuno-Nekoma game again to a Karasuno-Shiratorizawa game again. It could be a matter of I just like their personalities more for whatever reason, you know? Anyway, thanks so much for watching and commenting!

      So when can I expect a part 2?

    • @LadyIneia
      @LadyIneia  8 лет назад

      Maybe the second week of July, I have the next part recorded, but I have to edit the audio still, and then do the visual editing. The next bit is contained to about two episodes because it's focused on one character, so editing will be WAY easier, but it'll still take me a little while.
