You need to do the mission on Heroic or Legendary, otherwise the grunts will get killed by the friendly marines before you recruit them and they will not count towards your count.
Honestly it was easy, I did it on my first try but couldn’t grab the skull in time, then re did it and did it all without forge so he could get the skull. If it’s on normal it’s super easy guys.

same thing as halo regular game skull bigger explosions and more area damage, just kidding so your unit abilities like wart hog ram, recharge 50% fast meaning you can run stuff over more often or fire scorpion canister shells more often,
There are, just a lot of times your friendly AI companions will take them out first so you need to get to some of the grunts fairly quickly in order to avoid them taking your kills/rams.

This happened to me to it’s because on rare occasions when the skull is picked up it does not count go to skirmish and open skulls get the skull again on the mission that didn’t count.
If people seriously need help to find skulls in this game they are really stupid....its ALWAYS kill ? amount of something and as soon as you do it ALWAYS pings on the mini map where the skull is.... why is this hard for some people?!

For the first mission, putting it on Heroic gives you a couple more grunts to kill and makes it harder for the AI to take them out before you.
Either you have a completely different game or you lied because I am still one grunt short
Not to mention the controls are shit and your forces move like snails and don’t respond to commands

Halo Completionist yeah I got all 100 then the mission ended
Put normal and ram every grunt you see outside the base don’t go across the bridge expect 1 warthog then ram the group outside this will top it off

So kill 100 grunts would that be 100 each or 100 between us?
Both for the record. The Blackboxes and Skulls can be completed and co-op and are shared (share kills and only one has to grab it)
I’m having issues trying to collect the skull on mission 6. It spawns but there’s no option in collecting it!
You need to send a unit that can pick up supplies, like a Warthog, Marines, Flamethrower, Sargeant Forge or the Spartans

I simply did not saw the ping during the mission, so this helps.
It's easy to miss the ping if you're busy with the level fuck off with your attitude why r u here did u find them all ur self
