- The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, or 'Fan Edition', smartphone should launch later in 2024, sporting different camera tech and specs to the regular flagship. For a more affordable price you can get a similar device, just stripped back - so here's the latest Samsung Galaxy S24 FE leaks and rumours ahead of release.
Here's hoping that this Fan Edition actually launches earlier than year's end, as by that point you can usually already get a great day on the full fat flagship phones. Word has it the Samsung S24 FE will be powered by the same SD 8 Gen 3/Exynos 2400 as the regular S24. If that's true, then gaming on Genshin Impact should hopefully be a smooth, stable experience. Especially if the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition is bigger than the flagship.
Battery life should be respectable with a 4500mAh cell stuffed inside, while the AMOLED screen should be bright and punchy. If not that premium LTPO tech. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will also serve up a decent camera array, although expect a more basic telephoto shooter.

I’m still using S20FE, fkin brilliant work phone
The battery on my s20fe couldn't hold up even half a day for me so I had to retire it a little quicker than I do most phones, switched to a OnePlus 10t, good performance, great battery life, crazy charging speed for around $350 is unbeatable for power users on a budget
I'm still clinging to my S20 FE and I'm struggling to find a good reason to upgrade. The battery is finally degrading after 3 and a half years, so I'm actually considering this. My loyalty to Samsung is fading though, so I have my eye on the Pixel devices too
i use s20fe too... honestly i am happy with it except for its battery life... i do play games like bgmi which is uktimate battery drainer... but i easily get 5 hrs of sot with 85%charge on a particular day...
I am using s20 fe 5g from 2 and half years and it's good except heating issue . Battery backup is good and I haven't played any heavy games like bgmi. I hope battery should be stable and I can't avoid heating issue. I feel like Any samsung mobile has this issue. Still want to take samsung mobile only because of one ui.

JUST PUT IN A SNAPDRAGON 8 GEN 2 (ONE YEAR OLD CHIP) AND VOILA.... THE F.E SERIES WILL BE BACK....
THE ONLY FE DEVICE EVERYONE LOVED WAS SAMSUNG S20FE.... IT WAS JUST PERFECT.... PERFORMANCE CAMERA DISPLAY EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD... YOU JUST HAD TO COMPROMISE FOR A PLASTIC BACK.... AND LTPO TECH MAYBE
i still have my S20FE and have a small crack on screen...i thought about replacing it with a newer version but like you said, they all sound like crap compared to the original.....plastic back??? who cares, it's wrapped in a phone case anyhow...it was an FE because THAT'S what the "fans" wanted for way less of a price but still get a great device...just update the original, Samsung!!!!
S23 fe with snap gen 1 is a REALLY good device.
Now with 6.1. One UI and AI features. Pretty good. 10/10 recommend.

Im not a gamer so cant tell you about games.
But for everyday use, Snapdrg is not getting hot AT ALL. Only time its even warm(ish) is when I start charging.
Battery life is 6-7 hrs of screem on time amd Im using youtube a lot.
Im travelling now so not using it as much, i'm on 25% after stopping charging 21 hrs ago.
Easy 1 day battert life for regular user, for users like me who are power users its good, but can be better.
I apologise for being late to this weeks episode (well last week now), but it went live just as I sarted my 4 day alcohol bender with no surrender, I then spent Tuesday dying. Will be back to my Friday lunchtime viewing slot this week.
Walkman phones were classic, my mate also had the W810 for a couple of weeks until he sat it in the official Walkman speaker dock and it caught fire! Good times!
I on the other hand had the W550i which sounded amazing with the bundled Sony earbuds, plus the bright orange colour and twisty round screen was a real head turner.
Such a shame that batshit crazy designs are a thing of the past now.
Those Walkman and Cybershots are gorgeous monstrosity, my favorite brick phones!

the a55 is better and cheaper but can you remember when samsung was making giant a72 that was later discontinued for the FE line

Samsung has some ways to go before Exynos comes closer to Qualcomm. I can understand their motivation but the non-US markets fet shafted for Samsung trying to save margins.
Hopefully, we get to see return to Qualcomm in 2025 S-series 🤞

I ran a Samsung S21 I replaced with an S21 FE after 6 months. Both suffer from call quality issues which cuts out every other word during a call. Rubbish customer service from Samsung.

At some point, the Fe and A50 Series will pretty much be the same phone, and Samsung will have to decide which one to keep
InNorth America they won't be releasing the A55. They are bringing in the A35. So A35 then S23fe then S24.
The "FE" phone doesn't make sense it used to when the normal galaxy also had the QHD screen .... nobody wants shittier battery life ,worse performance, and the chunky bezels

considering the FE typically uses last years flagship chip it could still be an 8g2, but if not the S23's are still worth considering
they should name it Fun Edition. just apply the colorful options. fun colorful, fun cheaper
I just got the S24. I was using the A53 and let me tell you, what a night and day difference. Honesty, garbage A53 chips set also made me switch brands because the stuttering was so bad.

Yeah, it's gonna be the 8 gen 2 they normally use a 1-year old chipset and will still slap the Pixel 8 series because their chip is basically an s22

If you have problems with phones running genshin impact try turning the graphics down to medium 60 fps and see how they run. Samsung game hub is set to 48hz for all games you to disable it on every phone to get 60 fps

Honestly, I hope the Samsung S24 FE will be a smaller phone. It's literally the smartest thing to do. It cost a lot less to produce, and it'll make the performance better.
