XMLs are used by resolume to store all kinds of information. It saves the ones it creates in Documents > Resolume Arena inside the various folders. Check out my Transferring Compositions video for more info about the ones that are most important and where they are saved. Let me know if that answers your question or if you have any more specific questions that come up that I can help with.
I have layouts for prepping, rendering clips, using Resolume as visual synth and for Vjing. Layouts combined with different MIDI mappings and controllers allow for extremely custom and optimised setups which is awesome!
optimizing for the task is so helpful. I have a prep layout, and a couple of layouts for different show types (festival with lots of layers, timecode show, etc)
Bro please make a video covering the "The sphere" venue in vegas, and the techniques used to create it's content if you can! It would be really cool to hear some BTS from an actual VJ's perspective Also, this video was awesome, thx for the tips!
I"m able to view only about 8-10 columns at a time in my custom layout. Is there a way to view more or resize of the columns so i can view more columns in one glace?
No you cant adjust the width of columns currently, but you could rearrange your layout to prioritize seeing more columns. If that is important to your workflow, then your custom layout might not be quite right yet. You can also use a monitor with higher resolution. This will allow you to see more columns in the UI.
