He was an ex-Gurka soldier. They are polite super-soldiers. As Fearless as you will ever find. Be respectful to them. They love UK. He may have even shed blood for our country in Afghanistan or elsewhere.
Great interaction with a nice polite and professional security bod, security companies need to employ more people like this and less rude impolite wannabe tyrants.
They are not allowed to watch you on CCTV in public (only when you are on their property) unless they have a sia CCTV licence. Doubt that they are correctly licensed
The DPA allows you to cover land that’s not yours so long as you comply with the DPA rules. These basically state that you must have CONSIDERED whether your need to security trumps their need not to be filmed. For example if you catch a corner of the street while covering your car; fair do. If it faces into the neighbouring bedroom in case a burglar abseils down your wall; no.
don't mess with the gurkhas 😮I work at ratcliffe and know them all 😊they are the most polite and nice blokes I will ever know but don't mess them about because they are tuff hard ex soldiers who take no shit😊❤
"Well done security!!" Never thought I'd say that.

What is that security guard doing outside the power station?
Back in the 80s I got pictures of one being demolished with explosives it was somewhere round Agecroft or Rainsough.
I watched four cooling towers being demolished by explosives at Ferry Bridge power station a couple of years ago, awesome site to see
Agecroft towers were demolished in '92.. I worked there.
