I’m not even a huge Drake fan, but this album was the last straw for me. After claiming to be coming back with those “Take Care” and “IYRTITL” vibes, as well as releasing two good singles, he did the same thing that he’s been doing for the last 7 years.
Bro why do everyone want a full rap album from Drake 💀💀Drake is POP RAPPER. He is supposed to sing and rap. Ofc his singing became dull lately but he needs to improve it, not quit it
Let's be honest here, we are never going to get the Take Care or Nothing Was The Same version of Drake ever again. The thing that made those albums special is because Drake was on the come up, he had a point to prove and it gave him a ferocity in his lyrics coupled with storytelling elements about his ambition to reach the top. Now that Drake has been at the top for 10 years, the hunger to prove himself has died and he does not have to try anymore. Anything he releases will go number 1 because it's Drake but not necessarily because it's a great song. Take 'Slime You Out' for example, the song is uninspired but it went number one whereas the song 'Take Care' never reached no.1 but we can all agree it is infinitely better than anything Drake has released in the last 5 years. It's the same way that Apple have stopped innovating the Iphone like they used to, they don't have any competition so they don't need to push themselves as hard as they did.

I really enjoyed the album but I do think some of the songs did just drag on and it definitely sounded nothing like old Drake like he said, but still it's not too bad.
We should have gotten more rapping and beats like on 8am in charlotte that’s what we were expecting from Drake but as usual this album is to sell units and keep adding to current style and sound in hip hop today which is lackluster and lazy. I like Drake as an artist but like people are saying he just not hungry anymore and give us these lackluster records, when is the last time Drake said Yoo let me rap next to Bun B, Nas, busta rhymes, andre 3000, and among other greats (not to say he hasn’t done so in the past already or hasn’t considered it); on an album or mixtape/EP to really show us how good he is as a rapper amongst these greats and we all know he can make a song. So to mix your song making abilities/ rapping abilities with artist like these and mold it into a song that would have casual and loyal rap fans give praise to wouldn’t be bad thing to do.

So boring are his melodys damn her los wa y better , 8am and Cole Track are Fire the rest mid mid i personally give an album a second listing but these autotune vocals are horrible that never listing twice.
it was a trash album and saying that doesn't make you a hater i love 2011-17 drake and a lot of the songs he's done since but there wasn't a single track i'd take away from this he's become a parody of himself
The last half of the album seemed pretty cohesive during my first listen... imma listen again but u didn't find it that horrible and I don't like Drake's Music much at all.
Honestly there are a lot of bad songs but I thought it was alright. Definitely could of done way more and there are tons upon tons of awful bars. I also liked most of the features I think the only one I wanted more from was the chief keef one because he had a really small part. Favorite tracks for me: Amen, Daylight, First Person Shooter, IDGAF, Slime You Out, Members Only, What Would Pluto Do, 8am in Charlotte, Rich Baby Daddy, Another Late Night Least Favorite: Easily Calling for You. The 21 verse is pretty good but Drake's part is absolute horseshit and the flow of the song is absolutely ruined by the obnoxious interlude with the girl talking. 10/21 for me (not counting interludes) Good video Mr F, have a good weekend!
You rate this a 4.5 like 8AM or Draw a Picasso aren't on the album. Even the track with J. Cole is a standout performance. I feel like people often forget that drake was always the one making music we would party too, not just the music to wow us and flex his rapping/writing ability. Why take the music so seriously when he isn't either? There are songs on the album to play in the club, listen to during a breakup, and songs to cement his legacy as one of the greatest to do it. Who else is doing it like this? It's not the best album in history, but it's fun. That being said, I'd give it a 7.5
Cole having the best verse on the album is A PROBLEM..

J Cole and Kendrick aren’t eihter but they still manage to do concept albums that have BOTH cultural and commercial impact.
Lazy writing. Go back and do better,
This project has some of his best work and there other half is bad i would say there 11 or 12 songs that are worth listening to but he aint hungry enough anymore
Was I the only person who actually loved the album?
I mean it isn’t bad
It just didn’t add up to the hype it generated
If you like it you like it
Idk it's just for me his marketing ruined things for me
I haven't heard it yet but if its as good as CLB I'll tolerate it
It is
it’s tuff
It's not people gassing this album up
I agree his music is getting more and more lifeless and vapid with each releases
“Made everyone” like the world doesn’t have different time zones💀
So boring are his melodys damn her los wa y better , 8am and Cole Track are Fire the rest mid mid i personally give an album a second listing but these autotune vocals are horrible that never listing twice.
CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO ABOUT RAPPERS WHO SELL THEIR SOULS
UNCOHESIVE MESS ‼️‼️‼️
There’s a few good songs but besides that the whole thing just sucks
Album is Trash! The End
First time I ever turned off a drake album. Shit is honestly unplayable.
So let me get this straight you guys are mad hes talking about relationships and throwing shots and flexing on a album called for all the DOGS
He tries to appease and make music for everyone and in doing so he makes music for no one and the project loses all its integrity
I heard the album and its alright not bad but I have heard better from him
❤
it was a trash album and saying that doesn't make you a hater i love 2011-17 drake and a lot of the songs he's done since but there wasn't a single track i'd take away from this he's become a parody of himself
Can you do a tracklist ranking of some sort?
Denied.
this some d1 hating all the parties was fire dont be hating on pookie like dat
He copied dmx's song for his album and it wasnt even good😑😑😑
The last half of the album seemed pretty cohesive during my first listen... imma listen again but u didn't find it that horrible and I don't like Drake's Music much at all.
J Cole carried
8 am in charlotte va beach fps and idgaf the only good songs ima actually play the rest of the album was just so forgettable and boring
Honestly there are a lot of bad songs but I thought it was alright. Definitely could of done way more and there are tons upon tons of awful bars. I also liked most of the features I think the only one I wanted more from was the chief keef one because he had a really small part. Favorite tracks for me: Amen, Daylight, First Person Shooter, IDGAF, Slime You Out, Members Only, What Would Pluto Do, 8am in Charlotte, Rich Baby Daddy, Another Late Night
Least Favorite: Easily Calling for You. The 21 verse is pretty good but Drake's part is absolute horseshit and the flow of the song is absolutely ruined by the obnoxious interlude with the girl talking. 10/21 for me (not counting interludes) Good video Mr F, have a good weekend!
7.5/10
This album too long. Launch drop album Midnights. Not morning
He knew we'd fall asleep if he dropped it at midnight 😴 gave it to us in the morning, when fully awake. Smart
No he didn’t deliver at all. He went further into fast food rap instead of trying to make a classic
That being said, I'd give it a 7.5
Bro is destroying his legacy as a rapper & poisoning his discography further than he already has, since 2017 bra!!!
