Updated comment: I am a massive fan of this game and I want to say that this 10 star speed-run is not bad actually. It's intense but you can do it. I figured it out that instead of speed-running the game, like most people do, play it like a normal game. Then with repetition, you can master this tough game. And that makes the 10 star ranking so much more earning and epic. First play the game a couple of times. You'll have to. It's a epic game. Then figure out what you need. Then go do that 10 star run. And that is how SH2's 10 star rating earned my respect and adoration more. Update: Took out my idiotic past comment. The 10 star rank run in this game is awesome. Do it. Silent Hill 2 (2001) Forever awesome!

Hey you were talking about the PS2 version and the pressure sensitive buttons for attacking. I have a question about that. How are you supposed to do the alternate attacks on Xbox/PC? I know on PS2 you are supposed to just jam on the button hard (which has its own problems in emulation) but on Xbox/PC I have no idea how to do one style attack over the other.
On Xbox it's the same as PS2, despite my commentary. On PC it's the difference between tapping and holding the attack button (which is much, much better).
@@RuminInLove Strange, the Xbox doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons though? That's how it is on PS2 right? So surely the Xbox and PC must be the same? I'll have to try this on the PC version and see if I can get the alternate attacks but perhaps it's a timing thing I can't quite get right. No matter what I do, James always does the little toe poke ground attack instead of the hard swing kick.
