Ratings have always been a bit hit and miss in Fifa. A lot of it is down to reputation in real life. A player like Busquets, who is slow, poor at shooting, not the best defender, not overly strong is one of the best midfielders of our generation because he dictates the pace of the game, every game…hence a higher rating that what his stats suggest lol
Just a lil thing I had to comment, there is skill based match making in every other game mode except draft (the whole point of draft is the better players at the game are the ones that get the best rewards and placement in the draft, if it was skill based matchmaking it would mean anyone could get to the top, that's not the point of the gamemode) secondly division rivals is skill based matchmaking (other than smurf but you'll not see them in div 10-8 that much they all rush through that div) Ur rank makes u play players ur rank, the more wins u get in a row the harder the opponent's, fut champs (weekend league) as well if u win 5 games in a row u get harder opponent's after each other those 5 wins, also match making isn't the point of FIFA, how good u are is supposed to give u better rewards, u can't make people who play the game the same rewards as each other if Ur playing opponent's you've "always got a chance to bet" as u put it. Playing for rewards would be pointless.
Also I hope it was sarcasm about EA being a small company 🤣🤣🤣🤣, because they're basically one of the top 5 biggest game companies in the world, not only do they have they're own games but they also own other companies that make games as well, they're legit got the hand in every game companies pocket
