Greg I also called on July 14 to extend my Marriott certificate and one time it was immediately extended to July 14 2023 I only have Marriott Gold status through Amex platinum
Very well done guys, of course the reason it's so much work is bc it's there so many moving parts. MY way of finding business class is 1-looking out for flash sales and monitoring the upgrade prices when I book, I mostly book Tuesday-Thursday at least 6-2 months in advance. I fine that the more time I give them to throw business class offers at me the luckier I will get. This is what I mostly use my Ritz-Carlton cards and Amex airline incident fees for, the only trick I wish I could do is being able to use more than on airline fees card on one business class upgrade.
Turkish airlines has a great map for rules for entering each country. This is the map/site I've used for the last year-ish. for covid restrictions for different countries. I hope it is helpful.
Nick, when I am not logged into my Aeroplan account, I have the experience you described (not being able to navigate between days without modifying the search criteria), but when I log into my Aeroplan account, I can navigate between days easily. Greg, another vote for being interested in the format you use for recording interim award search results in a spreadsheet. I use a combination of screenshots and notes in a Word document, but it takes longer to capture information, and/or I often find I need to go back to the search to find something I didn't record.
No. In my experience, it automatically displays some of those routes, but you can build more routings than the ones they display. So let's say you find availability to Frankfurt on Lufthansa and then separately you find availability from Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi on Etihad and from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok on Ethiad and then Banklgkok to Singapore on Thai. A phone agent should be able to help you piece that together.
Another informative episode. Thanks! Do I sense in an upcoming episode you’ll compare all the different RTW programs - Krisflyer, ANA, oneworld, Aeroplan, and others? Oh, and any chance you'll share what your Google Sheets look like? 🥰✈️🥂

Loved the format with all five of you for both the draft and Ask Us Anything! Looking forward future shows!
Your videos are always a cornucopia of information that I tend to lose track of. I will have to have my notebook ready for the next class. Thank you

Nick’s 1500 amex platinum points I think are fair game to use for this challenge.
Nick you were just in Italy. (Going in Sept) what are the covid rules there?
Is something wrong with the Google Podcast version? I can't download or even play it.
Around 52 minutes you talk about making aeroplan route over the Atlantic to get to Asia. Is there a button you click to make it do that?
No. In my experience, it automatically displays some of those routes, but you can build more routings than the ones they display. We weren't planning on it, but that's a great idea
Make a challenge worth paying for you guys as well. ANA and Aeroplan competed?
I think you uploaded an old podcast episode. I got the episode when your Capital One card was canceled by capital one.
Yep, unfortunately the wrong episode was initially uploaded. To fix it, delete the download from your podcast app and then try listening to it again.
Wrong episode is on iTunes
Thanks. Nick fixed it earlier this morning. You may have to delete the download to update it on your device.
Okay, I just have to know, do you guys have a "real job", or do you get to do this stuff full-time???
Nick and I do this full time! -Greg
@@frequent-miler that is the most awesome thing ever! I'd love to hear how you did that in the next Q&A.
@@frequent-miler Wow, I figured you both had other flexible jobs. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.
