There are English subtitles available on this MV...and these guys write some very fine, deep lyrics. Great work on spreading the word about all the awesomeness coming out of Japan.

The lyrics add to the song in the way that it builds on the quasi-monk vibe these guys have and are smart and thoughtful. Love these guys. I'm just starting on their other stuff, which is plentiful as I understand it. Didn't know them 6 month ago.

Thanks, Joel for opening my ears to this wonderful band. We need to have a Japanese rock festival in the US there is so many Japanese bands we never hear of here.

Dark, intelligent, literary, poetic, ironic, parodic, humanist, revolutionary, skeptical, pessimistic, provocative, heavy. Ningen Isu - a historical great band. 👺👺👺

Ningen Isu are another example of the pure " out of the box " genius that permeates Japanese Rock and Metal .
A bit like Babymetal which if you described the concept of three little girls singing and dancing to metal - in a similar vein you have Ningen Isu - " Right boss - I've got this great idea for a band - there's a typical Japanese grandad , a confused ghost and Elvis on drums and they play heavy metal "
When you think about it both ideas sound ridiculous BUT the results are AWESOME !!!

"A confused ghost" had me laughing out loud. I usually call him Japanese Uncle Fester. 🙂

I don't get it. BORING. I am 71 and I was in garage bands in the sixties that were more interesting. WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE SO EASILY AMAZED THESE DAYS. IT GET'S WORSE AND WORSE. NOTHING ORIGINAL HERE. I'LL BE OVER HERE LISTENING TO SOME CREAM, HENDRIX OR MOUNTAIN OR BETTER YET BAND MAID.
